You seem to have a bit of a snow shield around Swindon at the moment

No snow here yet, despite it being forecast for 19.00hrs

Nothing in south Oxfordshire. Not a flake. I'm taking it badly.

Interesting @Iputthescrewinthetuna I'm in north Coventry, no rain, sleet or snow today just very cold!

iPhone weather app now says it's snowing here but still nothing

I wonder why the radars are so inaccurate? I thought they depict what is happening in real time. They are even wrong for an hour ago!

Just started very lightly in Greater London [santa]

No sign of snow yet on the Surrey/Sussex border.

Swindon and South Oxfordshire towards Reading, all seem to have a bit of a snow shield around them at the moment. I think snow is on its way though.

Gutted. Just checked the Met Forecast and it has changed from heavy snow later tonight to pretty much nothing (Cotswolds).

Beyond disappointed 😢

Gloria - do you think now it's moving further north there's a chance for Stafford tonight?!?

We have flakes in south Surrey! Just a few teeny ones!

@Catbot I’m local to you. It’s stopped BUT metoffice didn’t forecast snow until 8pm (and they were big, fat flakes that fell!) so I’m keeping everything crossed that it dumps a load down tonight and I can have a snow day tomorrow

It's pretty much given up here in North Dorset. Best described as light drizzle really.

I’m not sure my manager’s going to be OK with me taking an imaginary snow day.

PA ~ if there's anything, it'll probably be just a few flakes/the odd snow shower. Maybe an outside chance of a slight covering but that's about it.

@mrsdolittle Also disappointed. I’m Chipping Norton way and have been watching the forecast all week.

@4point2fleet, glad to hear it's now snowing in Sherborne, DDs have been messaging friends, and comparing snow, and the Sherborne and Milborne Port friends were missing out!

All the talk about snow is making me crave an avalanche... guess I'll just have to settle with the teeny tiny layers of frost outside!❄❄☃️

Windy0urneckin ~ you should get something overnight, possibly a slight covering but could be something more depending how high up you are.

No sign if any snow in my part of London, and the Met Office app keeps pushing the possible arrival time back - 2300 when last I checked.
