[santa]There's a good 10cms and still snowing heavily here north of Bath. Thank goodness I don't have to go out today!

Still coming down in Berkshire, apparently all the roads are white even main ones at the moment.

North Essex has a pathetic amount so I'll be off to work soon !

About 3" and still falling Hampshire/Surrey borders.

Woke up to just a light covering in Newcastle. Roads look fine so not too bad at all!

Swindon got loads eventually!

Snow in East Northamptonshire, probably about a centimetre or so from looking out window

Gloria, yes, for once the forecast here was right. I bought a sledge yesterday and thought that would jinx any snow fall but it's here all right.

Near the New Forest and have a smattering! DS disappointed that school has announced they are open.

The lightest of coverings here is SW Surrey. Supposed to be travelling to Oxford area this morning. Looking at latest forecast, might have to knock that on the head.

A light dusting in South Trafford, it's made the unmelted snow from Wednesday look pretty again but isn't enough to cause a repeat of the gridlock.

TrafficEngland have a website here ~ if you 'hover' over 'map layers,' and click on traffic cameras (not all of the cameras work though), hopefully you can see what road conditions are like in the area.

About 3mm here. South Warwickshire. Children almost crying. Looks pretty outside though

Oooh thunder snow in Co. Durham again this morning about 6.30. The lightening was amazing it lit up the room. Not a huge amount of snow but a covering.

About 5cm in nw London. Absolutely pelting down still. Not surprised we've an amber warning.

About 3cm in south Northants - DS1s school is open so am hoping the rural roads are clear as his school is in the next village, not walking distance!

Any snow expected for the Midlands later today or have we missed it completely?

Well I made it to my train - not much fun scraping snow off the car at 5am but at least it wasn’t snowing at that point. I missed the thunder snow! A covering of white all the way down the east coast main line so far, except - bizarrely - at Northallerton, which was a little pocket of non-snowiness.

Jacks I think we've missed it. I'm in the West Midlands and there's not even any frost here this morning...I hate snow so I'm chuffed!
