Thunderstorm watch

To complement the Summer weather thread.

Tomorrow could see some thunderstorms in places across England, but by tomorrow evening, the main area of risk appears to be in the central southern areas (revised forecast from earlier) , where frequent lightning and small hail could form in any storms that evolve.

SW London/NE Surrey here and the skies were spectacular. Not much noise though, so I’m guessing we were on the edge of things.

Started about 20 minutes ago in Leicester. Amazing continuous lightning and thunder. We were unfortunately woken by ds1(10) who is thunder/lightning phobic, throwing our light on and screaming in terror. 😴😴😴 Its going to be a loooooonnng day 😑😑

N Bucks. We had the storm in the early hours. Frequent lightning, rolling, rumbling and grumbling thunder, torrential rain. Was with us for an hour or so. Quiet and warm this morning.
