Snow Watch Part 4. The Winter continues....

met office warnings For tomorrow for Scotland and NW England, extending to Yorkshire. NW Scotlant in particular looks awful with blizzard conditions.

I'm not quite sure about the warnings for England, I'm going to be really interested to see how they pan out. Tuesday scattered sleet and snow showers for many.

It's a bit rubbish isn't it! I'm moving to Boston.

Ooh it's stopped. Yay!!

Well in a shock turnout for west Wales it has poured all weekend. The roads are rivers, the ground is saturated and my dog is in a very bad mood . Fingers crossed for better weather as it's half term here and I have three insane boys to keep from killing each other!

Just looked nervously out the window and there is some snow falling i think. I can't tell if there's also rain mixed with it.

OYBBK, hope ou get some overnight and manage to get a snow day tomorrow.

just looked out of the window and we have a decent covering here in se london. Nice suprise! Hoping school will be shut :)

About 3cms here north london/Herts border. Very wet snow though, and it's still snowing lightly.

A couple of cms here in the middle of Kent. Not enough for a snow day :(

It stopped as I was going to bed and doesn't look like it's snowed any more. Can't tell if it's still snowing.

A covering of snow here in North Suffolk. Its been the same most mornings then it is melted away by lunchtime.

Not exactly "Snowmaggedon" as predicted in some of the papers again.

A light dusting. Not sure how icy it will be, will find out in a minute.

It's been snowing since 6.45pm last night, I think it's been snowing all night and it's still snowing now. And what have we got for all that effort? About 1cm! It's our 1/2 term this week so was hoping to do a bit of sledging with DDs but there's not enough for the smallest garden gnome to go sledging in, let alone us!
Bummer!

Snow looks much the same as it did last night, so don't think we had any more. Lowest temp. in the night was 0, now +1. My snow boots are covered in mud as only have the one pair for all winter weather.

A couple of cms here in West Kent and still lightly snowing

Nothing here yet, but I'm expecting some in about an hour or two. Not much, but the air temp has dropped to 0.5c, so it might stick around for a bit.

Is there more coming today?

Newspaper just been delivered in a car, and there was no loud crunching noise like last time - so not frozen wet snow. Little dog been 22 hours in doors and has 'held on', bless her.
