Snow Watch Part 4. The Winter continues....

met office warnings For tomorrow for Scotland and NW England, extending to Yorkshire. NW Scotlant in particular looks awful with blizzard conditions.

I'm not quite sure about the warnings for England, I'm going to be really interested to see how they pan out. Tuesday scattered sleet and snow showers for many.

Oh NO. 3pm little dog excited for walk and it's raining and blowing. So she's settled down on my lap for a cuddle instead.

No rain or snow here in Suffolk. Very windy though!

Temperature's dropped here (Leicester) 1.5C in the last 1 1/2 hrs and we're now down to 3.2C.
Just a reminder about uksnow ~ a few snow reports coming in now as temps drop.

Heavy snow here West Sussex near Gatwick. Ground very wet though so not sure of it will settle.

Here in N Oxon, wet snow falling rapidly since about 4pm, beginning to settle despite the wetness. Earlier than expected.

Heavy snow in Kent now. It's too wet to settle on roads/paths but is a bit on the grass.

PeneloPeePitstop I am in East Kent and we now have snow!!!! Starting to lay on the grass and the cars to.

Slowed down now and is sleety again.

I have a hospital appointment tomorrow pm so really would be better if it stops but I do love it so.

OYBBK have you got some snow down there? I hope it's heading your way.

Just wondering what to make of the early arrival of the snow up in these parts? It's really looking very business-like out there - the roads are now looking slippery and there's a few centimetres accumulating. It seems to be about 3 hours ahead of all the forecasts. Does this mean the fronts are moving more quickly, or is there more snow around than was expected? Obviously I'm not complaining but just wondering if what we have now is what we should have had later, or whether this might mean that we will end up with a nice lot of snow tomorrow.

Heavy snow in my bit of Kent. It's starting to try to lay on the road, and my car and the grass have a decent dusting. Bet I wake up to nothing in the morning.

All my heavy snow blobs have gone from my weather forecast. Boo - sleet instead.

Hmmm. When did that happen? It was +5 at mid-day. Now +1 and has rained this afternoon and little dog and I had to miss our walkies. At this temp the wet ground will ice over tonight. Or will snow.

Thin layer of snow on the grass here in west kent now, seems to have stopped for now though

ITV weather forecast just as I anticipated. But glad to hear it should be dry tomorrow afternoon for our Walkies, if very muddy, and +6, in SE.

No snow in Bolton yet supposed to be getting 5-10cm

Rain has turned to snow in Northants

Snoeing hrte in Herts and settling on cars eyc. Starting to settle on pavements. Any N Londoners out there? what's it doing there?

Mankyboy1 has just gone off to winter nets, it's dry at the moment and very cold. I'm getting cross with the snow shield now.
