Snow Watch Part 3 - The weather continues!

Despite being under an Amber warning for snow, we seem to be having a sleety/frozen rain here (Leicester.) I so wanted a good amount of snow so that DDs and I could have a last go at sledging before it gets milder but don't think it's going to happen.

Snowing heavily now here! It is settling but we probably only have a cm or two at the moment. Will it still be here in the morning or will it have been washed away by rain!

We have a full 3 degrees here!
Rain is not quite warm enough to have melted the snow though

No more snow here just rain its freeing

Has been raining here and temp is 2.2.

It's about an hour late here SSC. Heavy rain.

About 6 inches in Wigan and its still falling heavily, haven't seen snow like this in a long time, roads are a nightmare, lots of crashes and cars stuck.

Raining here too. :(

OYBBK, do you think it'll turn back cold in February, or is this the last of the cold for this winter?

We have about 4 inches in north Manchester...don't think ill be driving to work In the morning but I know 2 little boys that will be very happy when they wake up .

Mumat, at the moment nothing showing out til the 10 th of feb. ( which is as far as GFS goes)

Just peeped round the curtains and....nothing, well just about a 1cm. Was mainly heavy rain in the end. . Bring on my party tonight.

There is snow out there. Looks quite pretty :)

Last night at 10pm it was 2.2 outside and this morning at 7am it was the same and had not reduced at all during the night. And we have a CLEAR sky atm. Very strange . Whether we will have a SUNNY day, at last, not sure, but hoping. Sunny and + 12 WOW?

We've had about a foot of snow in wigan, don't think we'll be venturing far today!

Don't think we had any rain in the night as snow still on the lawns. Can see the golden sky as the sun is rising - but temp lost 0.2 , so now only +2.
12 degrees today - could be . Will definitely feel like spring < dreaming>

Temp here is 2.1. Snow has reduced a bit, but still enough around to cancel football - secret hooray!

We had heavy rain, but its still not enough to wash all the snow away. Sun is coming out. YAY!!
