Im hoping for no snow tomorrow in York too as we are coming down to visit family.

Winter wonderland here in the North West.

Typical, I'm away from Manchester, and it gets decent snow!

Here in Renfrewshire its stopped, and in this neck of the woods we only got about 2 cm....

Does anyone know why this thread seems to go from one Loooong page to 30 something pages?

It is like Narnia here, still snowing and the roads are dreadful. The weight of the snow is breaking tree limbs, the snow is drifting and deep. It is lethal and beautiful.

Snowing now in derby - coming pretty thick and fast too.

So much for our forecast snow in Manchester. It went for it for a bit but has rained for the last hour and washed it all away. Is that winter over for us now?

No real snow at the moment in sheffield-do we think it will still arrive heavily as predicted tonight?

The forecast for my area amuses me. We have gone from a mixture of heavy snow/sleet/rain to light snow to nothing and now heavy rain! It has changed at least 4 times today.

Also in Sheffield, up the hill in S10. Was snowing earlier and settling. Was almost horizontal as very windy. Similar still but flakes are smaller and they seem wetter as its water on the outside of window. I am really hoping it turns to sleet and rain and not heavy snow, but the forecast still says snow afaik.

Been dry all day today. Temp risen slightly in the last few hours from 0 to +1.5. Still sceptical that we'll have + 12 tomorrow as forecast , in my newspaper< fed up face>

Rain in South Staffs. Hoping it doesn't settle in S10 Hulababy and awaywego1 - I want DS home safe and sound tomorrow!

Heavy snow then sleet now snow again here in warrington have a friend stuck on m6 near jnt 26 trying to get here m6 crashes everwhere

Snow's back in Trafford, falling nice and thickly, it's even made the road snowy!

Way too warm down here for snow. Up to a balmy 2.7c here!

Very snowy in Cheshire.

Strange here, massive snow flakes coming in horizontally & fairly heavy rain too. Can hear it on the window. Started later than predicted though.

Snow is covering our road and the grass and the car now. Is quite swirling snow so not sure how much does hit the ground but some obviously is.
