Snow Watch Part 2. Return of the Excitement!!!

Apologies to those in Norfolk who may well not be excited any more!!!!
This a continuation of This thread and is for model watching, forecasting and general excitement

Off to look at the models (and get dd up) back in a few minutes with latest thoughts!

The same as Lechat - I was worried it was that the snow has all been called off

Bit worrying that temps are up here. Nowhere near as cold as it was... could we end up with slush and sleet?

Oh bugger. Just remembered I did an online shop with Sainsburys and booked it for tomorrow afternoon......sigh.........

On the other hand... Yippee!! It's gonna snow! I can't sleep (saddo)

Snowing here in Norwich again. Hoping council will be more prepared than Tuesday, when I was stuck in traffic on Dereham road (takes usually 10 mins) for 2hrs.
Also people are apparently panic buying here!

can't sleep, the snow radar is too interesting seeing it all approach and checking for corresponding weather out the window :)

Well the forecast was for it to have been snowing here for the last 2 hours. Just looked out the window at...... Rain.

Another sad person who has been awake since 5am as so excited. Its worse than Christmas!

No snow yet though.

Just ventured outside in my dressing gown armed with a tape measure. We're up to around 3" of snow and its just started to snow again....Derbyshire Dales.

Lovely layer of snow in Somerset and snowing heavily. DC all awake, too excited to sleep!

We have snow. Not a great depth (yet), and it's very wet, but it's coming down heavily and being blown around.

I am about to venture out of bed to see if we have snow. I shall report back...

Its nearly here!!! should be at mine as we set off for work/school.

looks like last nights stuff has thinned out somewhat and this mornings weather crashes into it. Fascinating!

Morning BadKitten. Thanks again for all your wise words on here. Will be interested to see how much more we get as we sneak into the amber warning area, unlike the rest of Derbyshire which is just yellow (preens). We're quite high up here - about 500ft - dont know whether that makes any difference to anything?
