educatingarti · 17/01/2013 15:40

AS if the snow isn't likely to make enough mess on it's own!

lubeybooby · 17/01/2013 15:41

Thank you OYBBK Flowers

I am stocked up with yummy food and extra gas on the meter just in case. Bring it on! :o

JammySplodger · 17/01/2013 15:43

Glad you've got your snow SnowyKitten! If you get enough, do you think you'll actually build a snow kitten?

educatingarti · 17/01/2013 15:44

the "snow extending up past Edinburgh" at about 6.00pm on Friday. Is that the whole of UK south of Edinburgh snowy then or is it eastern side of UK?

Helenagrace · 17/01/2013 15:46

Just bought logs for our freshly swept fireplace.

I've never had a real fire before. I have no idea what I'm doing but the threat of snow is making me want to try.

I'll probably set fire to the house...

AnAirOfHope · 17/01/2013 15:47

Its snowing in South Yorkshire :)

DamnDeDoubtance · 17/01/2013 15:51

Will it get to the South East tomorrow oybbk?

mankyscotslass · 17/01/2013 15:56

No snow here yet, the eastern edge of Greater Manchester.

The sky looks full of it though.

SilverAndSparklyKat · 17/01/2013 15:58

It is SNOWING in Birmingham!

PseudoBadger · 17/01/2013 15:58

Hmmm I'm in North London. DS has a class/group thing tomorrow that we would be travelling back from at about 12.30pm. I wonder if I should go, possibly risking being gridlocked with angry 2 year old....

educatingarti · 17/01/2013 16:00

Now snow in Manchester yet!

OhYouSnowySnowyKitten · 17/01/2013 16:01

educatingarti. manchester will be snowy :)
DDD. Yes, it will.

Cleaned out woodburner and bought in loads of logs. dh and I are going off shopping this evening else by Sunday we will be down to even more random things than we are already eating.

OhYouSnowySnowyKitten · 17/01/2013 16:01

pseudobadger, really not sure about that. London and laying snow is a bit hideous isnt it.

TheOriginalNutcracker · 17/01/2013 16:01

Are we going to get a decent amount in Brum (sutton coldfield specifically) ??

I've been and bought ds some new snow boots so I would like a fair amount for him to christen them in.

educatingarti · 17/01/2013 16:02

scotslass. I'm on western edge of Manchester. I wonder who will get snow first. Sky is the right colour for snow but doesn't seem quite "heavy" enough IYSWIM.

TeWiSavesTheDay · 17/01/2013 16:03

Very gently snowing here in the very middle of england. (monday's snow also still not melted)

Will have to send DH to the shops later as first winter in new house and reckon our street will be totally cut off to cars in deep snow.
