Help! What are the real chance of snow on Thursday

in central scotland, fife and perthshire?

I have to get to a very important appointment and will have a new baby and preschooler in the car.

But we are more important Kitten. Obv.

Hoping for mucho more snow

Ok, tomorrow, best guess at the moment (which seems to tie GFS, UKMO kind of roughly together) as to where the greater snow risk lies.

Saturday:
Snow Wales and NW over night. Then that moves to engulf the SW, the Midlands (unsure about Midlands) and the south and SE by lunchtime. (may include EA) Also either southern or western scotland or both.

sunday:
Mainly a southern coast feature and coastal NE (including Scotland)

By far the best bet is to check out the warnings pack carefully if you are travelling - being prepared to be stuck for a long time and just generally Be Prepared.

It can snow now if it wants, kids off school, DH working from home and my DM is staying here for medical treatment, so I know she is ok!

And that means it wont snow, of course!

Conflicting forecasts here in NE, I guess we're either ok cos not quite pennines, ok cos not quite east coast, or dumped on cos we're in between 2 lots...

its a nightmare duckyfuzz - part of it is that the wind is more westerly so snow is coming in off western coast - but who knows what will actually happen!?

tricky noah, I wouldnt say you are high risk but tbh you might as well just chuck a handful of icing sugar at a map of the uk and use that as a forecasting tool for this weekend.
