...what comes out in the poo of a baby you are weaning

Background we have just started baby led weaning my daughter on to limited solids.
Click here for pictures of her first meal

As we EC our daughter, we catch her poo in a potty and I have noticed that whatever food I put in one end of our baby is coming out pretty intact at the other end, except banana which seems to result in a very vile glope. In total her behaviour and wee/poo seems fairly normal apart from this addtional food component.

Tell me this is normal..please.

BEW - I meant it in a light hearted way. My ds, an only child, gets spoilt rotten too

YellowRose,

I took your message in a good way (gosh it is hard to convey meaning with words only isn't it)

Interesting what you mentioned about dirt holes etc and yes, I hope potty training is slightly easier when we hit that stage (not for a couple of years, thank god)

Babies - I admit to being a lazy cow mum - I get more and more lazy as DS gets older and I get older - lol

He is 2.8, still not potty trained. Tried it a few times for a day, but he put potty on his head and ran around the room with it

I have heard it gets easier as they reach 3, esp. little boys.

I am going to let him run around bare bottom at home as the weather gets warmer in spring/summer...hope that does it !
