L: grapes, 2 plums, sticky rice traybake with butternut, cashews and broccoli
S: handful of pistachios
D: potato and violife feta bake with cherry tomatoes, beetroot and Bombay carrot salad

No my brother is in tier 4. Just really heartbroken

L: thai spiced tofu, pak Choi and rice noodles and apple crumble
D: picky tea of leftover Linda McCartney meatballs, cucumber, hummus, cheese on toast
S: Bombay mix, an orange, 2 hotel chocolate truffles

L: lentil soup
D: orzo with courgette, spinach, peas, lemon, chilli and pan fried tofu, an orange

Bust open a box of hotel
Chocolat vegan Christmas chocolates so been having a few of those each evening 😋

Not very nice the dark choc had that flat, plasticy taste but I still ate the whole box. They had a good vegan range for DD stocking though little lollies, truffles and a choc penguin. Got a vegan selection box in aldi for her. I've signed up for the happy pear vegan cookery online course to do it Jan, it looks good I will report back xx

L: roasted vegetable soup with 1 slice of bread and naturli
D: 2 Richmond sausages, veg black pudding, cherry tomatoes roasted with chilli oil, spinach, hash brown, mushrooms, baked bean and sourdough toast
S: 2 satsumas, 3 dates

Delighted to discover a shop on our island that sells naturli butter, oatly creme fraiche and oatly cream. Using them all in my meal tomorrow so hopefully tasty. Have a great day tomorrow everyone. I am hosting ds 18 home from uni and now a carnivore amongst 3 vegans xx

Yesterday was pretty delicious:

B: hummus on toast
L: chipotale tofu and stir fried cabbage
D: beetroot and mushroom Wellington, green beans and pickled cucumber salad, brownies and salted caramel ice cream
S: chocolate

Yesterday (Christmas day)

Breakfast- homemade vegan (and gf) almond croissants- bloody delicious thsnks DD.

Christmas dinner
Starter- mushroom,walnut and tarragon pate on melba toasts

Main- our traditional nut roast Wellington style. Mash. Roasties. Maple syrup parsnips. Bread sauce. Peas. Carrots. Brussels with vg bacon and chestnuts. Broccoli. Gravy. Vg pigs in blankets (although i hate that name) .
Dessert- mango cheesecake with berries and custard.

Supper- the most delicious vg blue cheese given as a gift from my dd from a vg cheese shop in Edinburgh. It was thee most amazing thing!

25th
B vegan party nibbles, not very nice
L soup, mushroom Wellington with all the trimmings, dark choc tart
Way too many sweets and chocolate, gin and fizz.

Today the children are making the boxing day meal xx hope everyone had a lovely day x

B: homemade cinnamon rolls (first attempt, did a recipe from Vegan Richa and they were pretty good!)
L: starter of truffled cashew cheese and beetroot on cucumber slices, then butternut squash and nut roast, Brussel sprouts and chestnuts, roast potatoes, parsnips and carrots, chocolate Christmas spiced cheesecake for pud
S: a chocolate, too full for anything else!

24th
B: porridge with blueberries, golden syrup and seeds
L: baked beans on toast
S: satsumas, dates, mince pie
D: nut roast, roast butternut/potatoes/parsnips/cauliflower, rainbow carrots, sprouts, broccoli, cranberry sauce and gravy. Biscoff cheesecake. Mint chocolate wafers

25th
B: Apple and cinnamon pancakes with maple syrup, 2 crumpets
L: olives, green salad, vegan party food (duck spring rolls, cauliflower and chilli bites, mini bhaji, pakora and samosa - all good, plus a sort of hm sausage roll)
Plus lots of Costco Indian snacks, trifle, some vegan cheese and biscuits, nut roast and cranberry sauce sandwich, satsumas and dates and some chocolate

L sweetcorn chowder and 1 Slice hm sourdough
D cauliflower, chickpea, kale, Tahini roasted
All the vegan choc in the house lots and lots all gone now I hope x

Snacks: 1 bar Nomo caramel, several handfuls salted Pringles

B: 2 crumpets with naturli and marmite, satsumas and dates
D: sort of Boxing Day hash made with the leftover veggies and some boiled potatoes which I fried up with onion/garlic/chopped facon. Eaten with some mustard and horseradish sauce from Tesco, beetroot, Bombay carrot salad and the last of the nut roast
Chocolate - DH placed a big order with Whitakers and I have an absolute mountain of different creams (mostly fruit, but also coffee and mint). So quite a few of those. And some of the bendicks. And some poppodom crisp things (or was that the day before...)
