No it won’t make a difference to isolation, BA is doing trial testing to show the government there’s a way of doing it that allows people to fly without 14days of quarantine, will give me some peace of mind though

PartTimeDomesticGoddess · 08/12/2020 19:38

ppeat sort of to the sausage plait. It was really nice and something we will eat again, but we're yet to decide what to have for our Christmas meal. I think I want some sort of stuffed squash but that won't work for the others, so I think a family meeting is in order to decide what they have alongside my stuffed squash 😂

That sounds like a great trial to participate in IJumped. I'm sure that would give me peace of mind too

Yesterday was
B: cinnamon and raisin bagel thin, toasted with naturli and violife cream cheese. Satsuma
L: spiced aubergine and tomato bake with flaked almonds
D: black bean, sweet potato and chipotle stew with dumplings
S: alpro cherry yogurt, dates, kimchi

And I remembered that on Sunday I also had a slice of toast with peanut butter and kimchi. DH thought it was appalling but it was lush Grin

PartTime You may have made one before successfully; I sort of tried at one Halloween party making a squash soup INSIDE a squash ! It's a bit tricky because the outside squash gets cold, (it has to be undercooked to stop it falling to pieces, like mine did!! ). On Xmas Day it might be too much because it won't keep well. Oh and it takes up a lot of room in the oven, which is fine if you're not doing a bird for the non vegans, I suppose you could make and freeze the filling beforehand.

B. Leftover smoothie
L. Pea\carrot soup with soaked toast
SnS. Porridge with almond milk and xmas spices. Almond milk chicory cappucino.

ppeatfruit · 09/12/2020 09:16

Ref. Xmas pudding, I'm going to make a gf\vegan pudding. With almond\or soya milk HM custard. Using ground walnuts and almonds and HM mincemeat!

Coconut80 · 09/12/2020 22:37

Homemade mincemeat sounds lovely

B 40g porridge
L Hm tomato and lentil soup
D happy pear hm leek and potato pie
Snack family pack popcorn, used to love this and have it daily have gone off it.
Has anyone done any of the happy pear cookery courses, they ate reduced just now and fancy the vegan one x

IJumpedAboardAPirateShip · 10/12/2020 04:36

B: rice cake
L: avocado, tofu, lettuce, cucumber, lemon juice, chilli flakes and everything but the bagel seasoning
S: cocoa covered cocoa beans (!!), slice of toast and marmite
D: green beans, Dahl, chickpeas roasted in fatal masala, then some truffle Marcona almonds with a glass of wine

ppeatfruit · 10/12/2020 08:42

It couldn't be easier Coco I use sultanas, chopped dried apricots, lemon rind etc. just the fruits and some chopped almonds, the ingredients that we like. I soak it in grape juice, use a little olive oil and put in it very low oven for a few hours. It needs that because I don't use alk. it preserves it well.

B. Half a grapefruit, soaked linseeds\almonds\pears\ smoothie
L. Carrot\spinach soup with soaked toast
Sn\S. Mushroom soup with pumpernickel.

Coconut80 · 10/12/2020 18:57

@ppeatfruit I think I'll give that a try my husband likes those flavours. Going to try and make him a vegan panforte choc, almonds and cherries I think.

B porridge and pb
L hm tomato and lentil soup
D wholemeal pasta with hm tomato and veg sauce
Choc naked bar and 4 digestives uuurgh not good xx

PartTimeDomesticGoddess · 10/12/2020 22:20

L: aubergine/chickpea bake heated and stuffed inside a toasted white pitta

B: date/coffee/pb/banana/soya milk
L: sausage and bean stew with dumplings. Pear

OP posts:
ppeatfruit · 11/12/2020 10:10
