Afternoon everyone,

Forest Holidays are a firm favourite on Mumsnet thanks to their selection of tranquil, family-focused UK breaks set deep in woodlands, on the edge of splendid lochs, or in bright forest clearings.

Plus, there's also an exclusive 10% discount for Mumsnetters - just enter the code MUMSNET at checkout when you book, in case you didn't know.

This summer, Forest Holidays are giving one lucky Mumsnetter the chance to win a £400 voucher to put toward their own UK escape.

To be in with a chance of winning, just take a look at the Forest Holidays website, then post on this thread what you think would be the best part of a Forest Holidays break. Whether you like the idea of a family bike ride through the woods or would love the chance to immerse yourself in a private hot tub the beauty of nature, just let us know for your chance to win.

Winners will be picked at random on 31 May 2019, good luck!

Mumsnet carries some affiliate marketing links, so if you buy something through our posts, we may get a small share of the sale (more details here).

Having husband and childre all together with no Wi-Fi, oh and a hot tub to! Bit of cycling and glass of wine listening to nature, bliss.

The long walks, fresh air and some family time - especially after exam stress! A lovely glass of wine and a hot too won't go amiss either Grin

Hot tub, not hot too! Blush

We spend the year doing tag team parenting to fit in work and looking after elderly parents so it would be a chance to spend time together as a family.

The treehouses look incredible. I've been to the local Forest of Dean site and it's lovely - would love to take the kids a bit further afield with a company I trust.

It would be bliss. I don't know how to 'do' the outdoors but given my children are at their happiest and truest in nature I must, must try. I see the magic, the earnest interest, the submission to a wonder that cannot be found elsewhere. I see the satisfying weariness of open air adventures and their healthy glow. I don't though, have anything but urban experience to lead them with, to nurture their nature. We need a bridge in reality and metaphorically (and an actual stream and absolutely definitely a hot tub) to get us along this road (path?). We would so love it. Good luck one and all.

I live in London alone with my 10 year old and the thought of being out in the open, fresh air away from the hustle and bustle, doing activities like cycling ( once DD gets hang of it!) and just spending quality time together would be fantastic.

I prefer having experiences to having things, so Forest Holidays ticks that box for me. Getting teens off their devices and out in the fresh air, reconnecting with them and having real quality family time is priceless and it's what I value most.

The treehouses definitely. And probably the hot tub as well, but honestly the treehouses .

I just love how calming it is being surrounded by trees, so it would be that for me. The hot tubs and the chance to see red squirrels co e a close second!

Being surrounded by nature and breathing in all the fresh air would be amazing! The cabins look well equipped and a great place to retreat to after a day of fun.

The seclusion and privacy to enjoy the hot tub (better in cool weather in my opinion!).

Ooh, thanks Mumsnet and Forest Breaks! My family enjoy chilling out with a BBQ, we love bike rides etc but I have to be honest and say that it's the hot tubs that do it for us! It'd be a great holiday with extended family in one of the larger cabins too...

We'd love caving, biking, the pool, walking through the woods hunting for fairies. Looks amazing.

Very hard to pick! Being outdoors and away from every day life, especially as we live in the city. Hot tubs and treehouses sound amazing.

The kids would love to try pony rides!

Everything! They sound amazing, such a good selection of activities and love the idea of being deep in the woods. When can we go!
