The sun and shade trails for our toddlers - they love anything that gets them out, about and muddy.

For us, the chance to relax in the hot tub after they are in bed, watching the stars would be amazing.

Just being in the midst of nature (without having to rough it in a tent) and spending time together on a natural environment, walking, exploring, sitting outside chatting in the evening in a hot tub Smile

HowDoYouPronounceJohn · 08/05/2019 19:57

Getting away from the noisy place I live in to somewhere peaceful. (Because having a slamming door directly below your bedroom and anti-social neighbours does NOT lead to a good quality of life Sad). Also the fact that there's one not too far away from home is a bonus, as I don't enjoy long car journeys.

I am imagining toddler asleep, having thoroughly explored, looked at pointed. Weather co-operating. Me and partner on the deck with our baby monitor. The quiet and smells of the woods on a summer evening. A bottle of wine open, and awaiting a pizza night delivery.

Spending time together without distractions, re-connecting with each other and the world around us. Plus the luxury of a hot tub after a busy day of outdoor activities sounds bliss!

Just having the time to simply be with each other without the distractions of every day life. I have been feeling extremely guilty that as a full time student juggling home life, placements and writing assignments, my family are not getting the time or attention they deserve. A Forest holiday would be the perfect opportunity for us all to connect and have fun together.

The chance to sit in a hot tub with a view of the green forest, the kids in bed after a day spent adventuring getting dirty and muddy. Snuggling on a sofa to watch a bit of TV and waking up the next morning to the smell of woodland with it all to do again!

Maiyakat · 08/05/2019 21:23

DD would love the zipwire and the forest activities. I would love the peaceful location

FogCutter · 08/05/2019 21:26

We'd all love the cycling..... and a relax in the hot tub afterwards!

MrTumblesSpottyHag · 08/05/2019 21:28

The hot tub and wildlife for me and the kayaking and cycling for the kids and DH!

DaisyDando · 08/05/2019 21:29

I love the look of the Forest Holidays website. It all looks so tempting. I’d love to sit outside in the evening in the hot tub with a glass (plastic) of something refreshing.

fleshmarketclose · 08/05/2019 21:31

For me it would be the tranquility of being surrounded by trees, peace perfect peace. I can think of nothing nicer than sitting in the hot tub listening to the rustle of leaves and watching the sun twinkling through the trees.

Andcake · 08/05/2019 21:33

The joy of seeing our children at one with nature..the sights and sounds. Waking up and sitting breathing in the fresh air infused with the forest. I could even be tempted to sleep on the veranda if hot enough.

RebeccaCloud9 · 08/05/2019 21:33

Getting outdoors and exploring the puddles and for my kids it would be jumping in muddy puddles!

RebeccaCloud9 · 08/05/2019 21:34

Doh, exploring the woods not the puddles Grin

PenelopeParallelogram · 08/05/2019 21:37

Outdoor family time - exploring the forests, and of course relaxing in a hot tub afterwards!

Justajot · 08/05/2019 21:44

My DDs would love the hot tub.

Kidssendingmenuts · 08/05/2019 21:51

Just being able to relax and do nothing! Let the kids run about and enjoy the hot tub when they have gone to bed. X

tensmum1964 · 08/05/2019 22:35

The peace, beauty and tranquillity of the whole experience would be incredible.

Gertie75 · 08/05/2019 22:37

It all looks amazing, the kids would love to try a hot tub, my husband likes the idea of having a bbq and I'm into photography and would love to explore and photograph the sunrises and sunsets.

rosybell · 08/05/2019 22:37

My youngest dc has finally learned to ride a bike without stabilisers so definitely cycling through the forest as a family!

tensmum1964 · 08/05/2019 22:49

The peace, beauty and tranquillity of the whole experience would be amazing.

confusednorthner · 08/05/2019 22:51

Macaroonmayhem · 08/05/2019 22:52

Listening to the breeze in the trees

MadameJosephine · 08/05/2019 22:55
