I'll pop a link in the old one so you know where to find safe haven. I have tried to clear out some space by getting rid of the ohp and vcr trolley and gin is hidden behind the sick sand bucket.

Ophelia there’s a new Daisy book out in March and I’ve already pre-ordered it so we get it hot off the press. That’s how much we love Daisy! They’re very silly, not at all like Enid Blyton or How to Train Your Dragon though. Daisy steals a penguin from the zoo when she misunderstands a sign saying ‘adopt me’, for example. And then gets in big trouble.

My lot are a big fan of silly books.

You've sold it to me. I am honestly about to drop £100 on books.

Blimey, our mates from Twats4Us are out in force this morning.

Has it started again?

The anti lockdowners are going to pull out all the stops to get schools open on the 8th.

Except make them safer.

I mean we've been trying for a year now to make them safer. I wonder what grand plan they have up their sleeves in the next three weeks.....

£100 on books sounds lovely :)

Yeh also I don't eat food and only have prescription calorie drinks so I'm saving tons on that

Yep-the boards appear to be awash with, ‘oh, thank goodness, my DC are soooo excited with this this morning’s wonderful news!’
chocolateisavegetable · 14/02/2021 12:05

The new staffroom is open - see you all there

RandomGrammarPun · 14/02/2021 14:27

I'm sorry but what kind of irresponsible person tells their kids anything like that until it's actually confirmed? Not a good parent, that's for sure.

HarrietDVane · 25/02/2021 12:53

Just popping in to dust off the chairs (are chairs still banned?) and switch on the urn. I have biscuits, but be quick because I'm greedy and I'll eat them all if left unsupervised for too long...

GuyFawkesDay · 25/02/2021 12:59

Anyone got fresh milk? This stuff smells off....

JanFebAnyMonth · 25/02/2021 13:04

Don't, we had not off but lumpy UHT the other day 🤮

MrsHamlet · 25/02/2021 15:02

I have milk and lemon polenta cake....

motherrunner · 25/02/2021 15:10

Running in and out as I’m in the middle of Yr 11. They’re in breakout rooms at mo, I give it 5 minutes before the start talking about anything but the task.

RuleWithAWoodenFoot · 25/02/2021 15:12

My DH popped in to maths this morning, to find me with a drawing of the earth, sun and moon on the whiteboard, and a discussion going on about how an asteroid wiped out the dinosaurs. Oops.

If I appeal now, do you think I will get a couple of GCSEs for my cat, even though he's not quite 7 in human years? His language skills are excellent, and he'd certainly get one in PE...🤦🏻‍♀️

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 25/02/2021 16:12

Don’t see why not. Ben Goldacre’s cat is a qualified nutritionist.

MsAwesomeDragon · 25/02/2021 16:14

Our DH just sent an email to us all telling us to chill. We did the CAGs professionally and accurately last year, so we'll do that again this year. And we were advised to keep calling them CENTRE assessed grades so the kids don't try to blame individual teachers but are aware it's the school as a whole who assess their grades. I thought that was quite reassuring and sensible.

I love this one. I'm a fan of his 🤣
SquashedFlyBiscuits · 25/02/2021 16:37

One of my cats is definitely going to get a science GCSE. He has sat it on all of dh's live lessons. Generally plonks himself on the kitchen table about an inch from the laptop. I shall sue if he gets lower than a 7!
