I ahve just peeped at CV board. Geez some really unhealthy levels of anxiety. Any other board and any other situation those parent would be told to stop projecting. I really hope they aren't doing all this sobbing and emoting in front of their children but I suspect many are. What happened to stiff upper lip??

Not in today but virtual planning meeting. Got to find out which of my kids will be sent in.

You mean your toddler wasn’t awake when you posted that? Can I send you mine for training? Wakes between 5 and 5.30 every day, hasn’t had a nap since before she turned two and is on the go from the moment she awakes 😩

I feel so much guilt about sending him and keeping EYFS open to all seems an interesting decision. I hope parents keep their kids off unless they need to be there. The staff have all had covid so hopefully they won't get it again.

I thought the same - I know it's selfish but I'd earmarked the money for something :( Mind you, it could all change and we'll be marking something...

Is this private nurseries too? Ours asked for KW lists but 1 days before the announcement.

Our private nurseries locally seem to be open. Maintained nursery's saying KW kids only. Think they're trying to put off parent who could keep them at home.

Err...yes. He wakes between 7-7:30am every day and naps 2-3 hours each afternoon He woke up about 5 minutes ago, or at least made it obvious he was awake then.

Not sure it's my training though. I'm fairly rubbish at making him do anything. He went through a couple of months of 4:30am waking. Now that was just rude!

Ours have asked for KW status too, and said no mixing of childcare so I’ll have a just turned 2yo at home a few days a week 🤣

Absolutely shocking at that TES article. Nothing that we didn’t know already.

Think we have lots more keyworker children this time round. We already had a third of the school in as vulnerable.

Toddler owners; I think it's just how they are!

Mine was really unsettled last night after not being at nursery for 2 weeks. Awake for 2 hours but then slept till 7:00. Normally 6-6:30. Has a nap most days, very random how long.

He's morphed into a mega Clingon again. Fml sleep this week will be shit

Sent dhs school place request in. As it's basically his. He's my child care if not!

I think well have more KW and vulnerable kids in this time and that all LSAs will be in the bubbles with teachers on rotas, not sure how I feel as an LSA as there is a way to get creative so we can work from home some days and mean were not increasing exposure for other staff which we did in June.
