You are most welcome to this school staff support thread to get us through stressful times. It is meant for school staff only – a sort of room of requirement. Baiters, haters, goaders, and bashers can jog on somewhere else.

Other requirements for staff room entry include the ability to find the staff room, the ability to find a clean mug in the staff room, knowledge of the photocopier codes, and the ability to sniff out where the booze is stashed - Thirsty Tuesdays, Fizz Fridays now in operation.

If you come with a stick to goad us then that is not allowed in the staffroom and you will receive a detention

Honey are there any takeaways that will deliver ice cream for you? Loads of takeaways near us have started doing "desserts" which is basically a confectionary section and ice cream. They will deliver even if you don't order a main. Obviously more expensive than in a supermarket though

Totally get you. Having spent loads of time inside and barely gone out except, work and exercise for weeks, you can't imagine the amount of stuff I suddenly decided I needed once I couldn't go out between Mon night and Weds lunchtime when they called with the result.

Hope you manage to get a good rest starry.

I noticed U4T are quiet.

They do very much focus on primary so perhaps they are not interested in the latest news.

Oh right so it's not 7 days testing at all. And you have to start the 7 days on a Monday?!

Sorry you've been 'properly' ill starry. And are you feeling OK apart from frustrated name?

I've slept a lot @DecemberStar and feel achey but not as bad as two days ago. Still have no energy but then I've not really eaten since Monday. I'm not so good at sitting. Wedding anniversary this weekend, everything's cancelled 🤷‍♀️

8 would make more sense then wouldn't it? But you have to isolate on weekends. So test Monday-Friday, no test Sat & Sun and then a test on the Monday.

If they did it properly it might actually work, but there would be some self-isolating involved. And you could do it with fewer tests.
