Our HT wouldn't let us go out for lunch when we were back in June although our admin officer was allowed to go shopping before school... not sure what the difference is!

For several years on the bounce, we had someone debt from the DfE delivery unit "embedded" with us for a week. The Head was very fond of scheduling them a couple of hours with me to talk about training and development. They never had any experience of education beyond private schooling, or any interest in education.

Anyone else bothered by the spacing on that poster? Like when you insert a bit of clip art and it knocks your text out and you just go ‘fuck it that’ll do’?

I have complained to the BBC about the misleading and inaccurate images they always show on articles about schools fully reopening. Won’t make any difference but it’s reeeeallly annoying me.

I think they've left a space for us to fill in other words of our choice. "Teachers are not - stupid and are - at increased risk" "Teachers are not - important so who cares if they are at - increased risk." Etc

Ah ok! My mistake.

Yes, they don't use the RIF (risk of infections) which is for general respiratory and contagious illness which has SN teachers, TAs and nursery nurses right near the top with teachers not far behind.

Not just your mistake. I also thought the same.

I think Clav was quite hurt back at the start of lockdown when she started getting posted at her. She’s been arguing with us for so long I don’t think she sees herself as a teacher basher. She backed off quite a lot.

Outbreaks will be our fault, because we are not behaving ourselves out of school.
