I love all the advent doors ideas....could day 10 be six cameras pointing at you as you open the door?

fridaynightzzz · 30/09/2026 21:39

I just wonder if they are making any normal friendships- I assume they can’t go to other children’s houses without some massive security sweep of the property, NDAs signed and a dozen blacked out vehicles to transport them.

WilliamsExtraSausage · 30/09/2026 21:40

Christmas Day (some advent calendars run to 25) will be an assortment of necklaces for your siblings to break.

JuniperJumper · 30/09/2026 21:41

Day 12 will contain an extra sausage & a bedroom expansion kit

IdaGlossop · 30/09/2026 21:45

Day 17: a dog bowl for the recipient to stamp underfoot

God, I’m sick of the BBC headlining the Sussex gripes.

I’m absolutely sick of all the mainstream media lapping up their lies and reporting it as news, always completely unchallenged, the only people who call them out are the independent media, threads like this on many platforms and the comments section in the papers, years ago we used to have robust investigative journalism, now all we have are Sussex mouthpieces eagerly doing as they are told like nodding dogs, the BBC are absolutely the worst for it.

UncleColm · 30/09/2026 21:46

Day 26 (there may be one given M's keen eye for detail) could be a note saying 'You are brave' in her fanciest writing....just what you'd want behind the advent door at Christmas

My2cents1975 · 30/09/2026 21:47

At the end of the day HaM's behaviour is not a surprise for KC3 the enabler who has covered up for H all of H's life.

KC3 has a disloyal Royal Duke who, after berating KC3's judiciary, and misusing school time for some of KC3's subjects, has gone on to waste valuable police time so KC3's already overstretched law enforcement has its time diverted for nonsensical reasons.

And yet, H is still on the website. H is still an HRH, titles in abeyance are not titles removed. H has received no sanctions from KC3...the "private citizens" letter was no sanction; it was a reminder of the agreement under QE2.

IMHO, KC3 needs to move to contain H's theatrics, not only for H's sake but also for his two grandchildren A&L. Charles the father must bow down to KC3 the King.

I just don't know why he won't take a stronger line.

I've lost track of which days we've covered but if there's a spare one it will include a male doll with a change of outfits

When dressed in a pilots outfit, the doll will kneel and say "Thankyou for your service"

When dressed in police uniform, the doll will hug you and say "I know you really tried"

When dressed in African national dress, the doll will summon many other dolls to clap & cheer

When dressed as a private bodyguard, the doll will shove bystanders out of the way and hold a kevlar shield aloft

Just to add another outfit

When dressed as an archbishop the doll will perform wedding ceremonies (but only in back gardens)

Styleinabeyance · 30/09/2026 21:59

JuniperJumper · 30/09/2026 21:34

But what will be written on it?

Whatever it is will be written with warmth and kindness

heatdome · 30/09/2026 21:59

Day 21 will be a voodoo doll of William.

A female outfit in enforced shades of beige

Day 18 will contain a blow up doll which bears a remarkable resemblance to Oprah Winfrey. When inflated there will be a dramatic pause then the doll will utter the word "What?"

Good idea. There will have to be a warning in window 18 because we don't want any male residents abusing the blow-up doll, putting Oprah in a sticky situation.

Whilst I would be the first person to acknowledge that I know absolutely nothing about how private protection works, I really find it peculiar how H&M's protection team work

Recently we have seen -

A protection guy carrying M's bags, so he wasn't free to respond if necessary

A protection guy shoving an innocent bystander on the sidewalk in NY

Photos of a protection guy holding a kevlar shield above H whilst he spoke to some children

H's car pulling away at speed, then getting stuck at traffic lights

And now we are told that the protection team at the school watched the European paparazzi photographer on the perimeter of the school for 2 hours before responding

After the debacle which led to the Hamlets changing schools (which was presumably caused by poor reconnaissance), I would seriously doubt the professionalism of this security team

Maybe the protection team was trying to find out if the paps were Backgrid Europe before acting? 😁

@HoldMyWine I'm envisioning paps in those striped Breton shirts. Or possibly non- British soccer team tshirts.

What would be great is if they turned out to be the exterminators doing a really thorough rat bait job.

H has been getting away with it for a very long time and looks like it will continue

Why is MSM bowing to them?? It's very bizarre

But what will be written on it?

As they'll probably taste like sh*t, '
The options will be
'You is kind'
'You is smart'
'You is important'

KCitsweyourHammiewevecomehomenow · 30/09/2026 22:20

The ideas will be stolen from someone else
As Ever

DaisyDooley · 30/09/2026 22:27

15 . will be them getting married -in the garden
three doors later
18 . will be South Africans dancing in the street

24 will be Lili bowing to Meghan Magdalen’s giant feet.
25 -bonus door. Telephone number (£5 per minute Ts & Cs on back of calender) to listen to a full some message of hope and how wonderful we are from the family with Archie & Lili trying to say ‘Merry Christmas’ in an English accent & ‘Happy Holidays’ for calenders sold in America. The message will be a maximum of 20 minutes. She’s keeping her word salad short.

Archie won’t be seen behind any door at all.

KCitsweyourHammiewevecomehomenow · 30/09/2026 22:30

And Christmas will be three days early.

Bloody Sky News (who I have pretty much stopped watching. I was jumping news channels looking for reports on hijacked plane) had the grim faced news reader telling us the ‘top story’ was International paparazzi /school shite as the top story. Utterly ridiculous.
Sky news used to be so good. It’s absolutely appalling now. Equal to the BBC.

BasiliskStare · 30/09/2026 22:36

What tees me off a bit is that H seems to think the UK is his personal playground. Yes of course he is KC's younger son. Personally I think the BP announcement they are private citizens and any doubt , refer to BP was quite strong in BP terms.

H's tiresome releasing things / lobbying for Ravec security , is boring . If he needs it , he will get it ( & if he does it will cost him a lot IMHO in popularity - of which he's not overloaded I would think at the moment ) equally his unpopularity won't matter. If he needs it he will get it , If not he won't.

I do agree with others if he weren't Princing about , releasing his diary , he could keep his family safer.

One thought - when C or W are said to make a "surprise visit " could that just possibly be because of security , they don't announce absolutely everything in advance. But then in constitutional terms W is simply more important that H . That's how it works. If it didn't H would Mr Nobody from Nowhereshire. (Although perhaps he is on that trajectory anyway but just doesn't like it.😊 )

KCitsweyourHammiewevecomehomenow · 30/09/2026 22:36

The BBC don’t seem to use journalists, they just read out PR statements from the Sussex’s PR as fact. Have they learned nothing

I’m sure the Sussex’s buddies at the DM are trying to track down these photographers.

Aren Advent calendars a British thing? I have never noticed them for sale in the US.

Trader Joe's puts out an extremely popular advent calendar for dogs and one for cats, one pet treat a day. They also do a 99 Cent advent calendar, with one tiny piece of chocolate per day. I don't know of any others. I buy the chocolate one each year. The pieces are so tiny that I don't feel guilty if I eat one.
