Continuing the saga of Sussex PR disasters.

Yes, that's a good suggestion. He's not a good speaker and not great at presentation, but that sort of thing could work. He has a cousin called Marina Ogilvy who works as a dispatch rider for the NHS, which he could probably do.

@Starryfifty i think places will keep asking him to do these speeches until they negative press spilling into headlines. At the moment I see most papers being fairly benign , so having H there is a benefit in terms of publicity of the event and them. If thinks keep sinking he might find that changes quickly.

On his speech, I just cannot imagine any other pro on the circuit cutting off like that. Anyone else would have said “Sorry, the autocue has failed, I’ll keep going, but I’ll be improvising a bit” or similar. Then gone on. Because they would have prepared properly.

It can’t be long before he becomes an actually liability to have around. After the negative commentary about his school
visit, and the disaster of a speech. If the papers start reporting negatives as headlines then actual professionals won’t want him associated with their events.

Because they wanted it to be a celebrity wedding. So it wasn't about school friends, or cousins or aunts; it was about big names they didn't know.

It sounds like that instagram post was designed to tell us all that Meghan is having an amazing time back in the UK, and that randomers keep coming up to her to welcome her back and tell her how deeply she was missed.

We don't know how H travelled but given the frequency of commercial flights between LHR and JFK you don't need a private jet to scoot between Northants to Midtown NYC efficiently.

It is just plain weird. Not one of Doria's side invited, not one Markle there... this friend of 20 years also wasn't on the guest list.

I think Meghan had told so many lies and different stories to various friends and members of her family that it would have all unraveled if they were in the same room. Not to mention some of them knew about the skeletons in her closet.

Far better and safer (from her point of view) to have a room full of strangers who didn't have a clue who she really was.

Yes & all spoke out at their surprise not to be asked.. it's just it's plain weird that she had noone from her past at the wedding or family. Surely that must have been huge red flags for the firm?
Compare to Kate who had all of Bucklebury Village & even old Uncle Gary. Nothing to hide with Kate!

I think Markle not inviting any of her family to the wedding plus the subsequent treatment of Mr Markle was the eye opening moment for the British public where Markle revealed who she really was.
Family is a huge deal in Britain & the fact that this woman treated hers in such a callous way will never be forgotton

I think about how angry I would be to be in the audience being lectured to by a dumb arrogant prince on a topic it's obvious he has no knowledge of and which I as a reasonably well informed person probably know more about.

I would find this infuriating and I wonder why organisers think this is a good idea.

Why does he keep giving speeches when he knows nothing?

Other members of the royal family don't seem to give speeches all the time. They just show up, speak to individuals to learn about their experience and attend events. They don't star in them.

Princess Ann isn't giving us her wisdom on how to raise disabled children or what industry leaders should be doing. Why is Harry?

It seems he's developed Meghans love of the microphone and a delusion that the he has wisdom and compassion to impart to the world.
When in fact he's very intellectually simple, very emotionally stunted, completely ego centric, lacking in skills, unaware and a pompous entitled buffoon because he's a posh 'Prince'.

Honestly if I were expected to listen to this ignoramus at a conference I'd walk out.

His drug abuse, poor mental health and impulsive behaviour would exclude him from many things. He would require a lot of supervision in whatever he does.
