Continuing the saga of Sussex PR disasters.

I've managed to find a video of H's AI speech. 15 mins - interrupted half way through . No heavy amounts of actual facts he had to deliver - speaking "as a father" . In this instance - if he couldn't have finished off that speech decently , without a teleprompter - even if he made a joke about the teleprompter going off - well I think that's poor show. No-one was asking him for accurate revenues over the last three years of AI related firms or predicted revenue from AI related companies. He had a very simple message. I'm not in charge of booking speakers for large global conferences , but if I were , H wouldn't make the cut. But he's a Prince and I'm sure a useful filler for 15 mins . And if you build it he will come 😊⚾🤑🛩

Ridiculous isn't it! AI didn't sabotage his speech, but which is he blaming? Can't be both AI and Reid's fault.

I think what happened in NYC has definitely done that. He can’t have walked away from that thinking that went well! I guess people like that will just blame other people.

Oh I agree, it goes without saying that A LOT of support would be needed to get the thing off the ground.

But I think as with Invictus, that support might be forthcoming if it meant he was gainfully occupied and less of a king botherer.

I know neither you nor I know Doria personally, so ultimately we’re both speculating, but I actually have the complete opposite view to you about Doria having had a “tough time”.

She married a man who was financially secure, so didn’t need to work. And according to Bower’s account, Doria regularly smoked weed at home, and Samantha suggested that her father knew Doria was sleeping with other men.

Doria apparently was not being particularly affectionate towards the older Markle children, who were already dealing with being abandoned by the mother, a workaholic father and the upheaval of having a new stepmother.

Then the arrival of a new baby, Meghan, who was apparently treated as the special little princess who received all the loving attention and was even sent to private school.

I don’t think the two older Markle children are awful at all. If Bower’s account is accurate, I think they had a pretty shit start in life and, from their perspective, a stepmother who didn’t seem particularly fond of them, while their younger half-sister received very different treatment.

But like I say! Who knows the truth, neither of us know them! (Thank god)

The phrase "don't know what you've got till it's gone" captures the whole NYC debacle in a nutshell...in fact you could extend it to the past six years.

Opportunities have dropped into H's lap solely due to his perceived access to monarch past, present and future. Because H did not earn these opportunities, H did not understand that he needed to put in the effort to make the most of the opportunities. Especially as H's perceived access with the RF will end once we enter the reign of William V.

Take this speech. CGI gathered important people into the room, who value their time and have achieved something in their various fields. H, already on the backfoot as a nepo baby, needed to meet the moment. H absolutely failed right in front of high profile, influential and wealthy individuals in the audience.

IMHO, H does not understand how many future opportunities have just slammed shut and how much he has embarrassed the Clintons. Several high-profile people have posted scathing social media comments about H's autocue fail and it is just a growing PR nightmare.

OMG Wingnut that TikTok is so uncomfortable to watch. When he comes back on stage, only a couple of people laugh at his “joke”.

They always dust themselves off and move on. He has had many disastrous speeches etc yet continues to get away with it

Was just saying this about nepo babies. They’ve not had the hard knocks their parents had, to get to the top. When you’re handed everything on a plate, but don’t know how to used a knife & fork, it’s not much good…

I don’t know… Meghan, who has more front than Brighton Pier, appears to be fresh out of ideas. What is she going to do next? Appears she was handing the baton to H, now they’re back in his territory, and he has dropped it. She can’t rely on him to make his own dime.

She must have serious ‘ick’ by now surely?
