Do you believe Charles Spencer that Charles Windsor said to him during a phone call "we'll forget her soon enough."

"I will never profit from Diana's death .... it's so low it's inconceivable." Earl Spencer.

As he says " it's so low it's inconceivable " 🤷‍♀️

It has to be done for international repatriation but there was some furore about it. Official permission had not been given by the family.

I admit I missed this ( partly because i wasn’t that interested or paying attention then!) very interesting!

What????

Or rather, to ensure that later blood tests could not be taken to check for pregnancy hormones (the embalming fluids made that impossible).

At the inquest evidence was given (and accepted) that because the hospital room in Paris lacked proper air conditioning, and it was a very hot day the heat caused rapid deterioration of Diana’s body. Medical staff and British consular officials therefore agreed to partial embalming so the body would look presentable when Prince Charles and her sisters arrived to view it.

Thanks as well @Serenster.

I'm reading The Diana Chronicles & Tina Brown suggests that Dodi & Diana were flitting about on the say so of his father.

Had they holed up at the Ritz that night, had she worn a seat belt, who knows?

This she said/she said nearly 30yrs on is so distasteful.

Then it drags up stuff like Al Fayed Snr saying she was pregnant & other rumours detrimental to her memory.

Her affairs, Harry's paternity.

It all gets dragged out.

Diana wasnt pregnant. She had confided to her best friend that when she was on the holiday with Dodo she was on her period. Her friend disclosed this information to protect Diana from any more salacious gossip.
I high doubt that Diana would have had unprotected sex with a man she barely knew.
She was many things but she wasnt stupid

No i just don’t believe it at all ! CS is no Saint either !

It’s the mother of his King Charles children so I very much doubt it at all I’m sure he would have been very mindful of that too and if he did have so much resentment towards Diana he didn’t have to go pick her body up in France !
And also why would he say such a thing to Diana’s brother!

There are now videos coming out of Charles Spencer saying in certain interviews there was no problem!

It’s all to bump up revenue for his book and Harry coming back is not a coincidence either they both should let her now rest in peace in dignity !

And indeed he hasn’t said or written about Diana anything for nearly thirty years.

As her brother, with so many others writing about her, and KC and C having spun their narratives about her, I don’t blame him for wanting to have a right of reply just once!
