I remember at the time of Diana’s death thinking CS was monopolising his sister by wanting her buried on an Island at Althrop and how sad it was that the person who supposedly loved people was going to be isolated on her own forever.

I don't think she's on the island and never has been.

Family crypt in the local church with down low visits from her sons whenever they wish is my guess.

Actually that’s a pretty big secret to be kept by a whole heap of households, staff and PR ‘teams’. And ex-wives and estranged offspring.

Obviously to me. It’s a nasty horrible thing. A brother using his sister. Meanwhile it’s so horrendous for her sons. Her husband used her no one can deny that. Meanwhile she was her own person in all that she done. She knew what she was doing when she married him. I don’t trust any off them. It’s time to let them go. They’ve got their money. Stop us from giving them more. There is no more money for them and their antics with foreign visits let’s stop that. There is no benefit to anyone but themselves. I can’t understand why some investigative journalism can’t be done.

Sorry if I’m repeating myself here but just so people know.
Harry won’t be getting an inheritance - certainly not one of any note.
Under the current law Money, assets etc passed from Monarch to monarch (so from King Charles to William, or From King Charles to Queen Camilla) passes IHT free.
Anything else is taxed at the same rate the rest of us have.
So the monarch sets up trust funds during their lifetime for the rest of their children . We know that -for example- that QEII didn’t leave Andrew anything of note because he was struggling for cash to keep on top of the maintenance on Royal Lodge. If he had been left a shed load of cash he would have been on a spending spree.
So, there’s no way Harry will be getting millions when his father dies - he will already have been provided for by trusts from his mother, great grandmother, grandmother and potentially his father.
If Meghan is holding her breath until he ‘inherits’ she’s going to be blue.

The other point I would like to make is that I haven’t changed my mind since yesterday. Charles Spencer and Harry are both still utter utter cunts very horrible men.
They both trade on the dead Diana to make money which they tell us she would have been pleased about.
I’ve just watched ‘what just happened’ with Kevin OSullivan whose guest (Samara Gill) quited from a letter written in 1996 from Charles Spencer to Princess Diana in which he said (allegedly) “….after years of neglect on both sides ourselves is the weakest relationship I have with any of my sisters. I have become a peripheral part of your life” He also told her she was a “fickle friend” and that she was “manipulative and deciteful”.
Not exactly the words of a loving brother are they!!
How can we believe anything g he says??
He said yesterday that Diana would be “Cheering him on from the rafters” regarding this book.
Now I know he’s not a mother, or even a half decent father but for all of her faults Diana loved her children and was immensely proud that William, her son, was going to be King.
Why would she be “cheering from the rafters “ that the brother whom she had a poor relationship with was, 30 years after her death, trying to make money out of her marriage and was really hurting William in the process?
Even though I didn’t know Diana and Spencer did I think I can say with some certainty that Diana loved her children more than she loved her brother.
Would any woman be pleased about this?

Im disgusted that HaM have kept quiet when they usually can’t wait to give their opinion on anything apart from the ‘swan of support’. Utterly disgusting.
If this doesn’t scupper any chance of any relationship between Harry &The King I don’t know what will .
I hope the King simply stops all communication- I genuinely think it would be the best think he could do for his own peace of mind.

It’s lovely how the Spencer children of Charles and Victoria all seem close with a close relationship with their mother who has obviously had dark times but now looks healthy, happy and more beautiful than ever. That’s the ultimate revenge imo.

I don’t think he has got much money.
These old houses cost an utter fortune just to keep going- never mind the gardens.
There are only two reasons Spencer has done this - Money and hatred of The King & Queen.

Also they seem to have more beautiful Lockwood genes than Spencer genes. Kitty, far left in long skirt and top has a very strong jaw just like her mother’s, it’s very noticeable seeing the two next to each other.

I think village households valuing their privacy might have connived and there's no reason to think lackeys, exes or juveniles might ever have been apprised.

A lead lined coffin would have been a logistical nightmare to transport across water and might well have been feared to eventually disappear without trace in water-logged mud.

Reports have it there was unaccustomed activity at the church a few days after the funeral and the crypt is heavily secured and inaccessible to the general public to this day.

IMO the overwhelming likelihood is she was secretly buried alongside her father.

I agree Daisy. KC needs to cut Harry out of what's remaining of his life now. This book has to be the final straw. Unless H makes a public statement that he assumed his uncle was writing about his mother, not his father but unfortunately he won't. Plenty of parents are estranged from one or more troublesome offspring.

So even the title is about him not Diana?

This appears to be a KC thread. So i will bow out and leave you to it. He is absolutely not a paragon. And yes as i said before i am not in favour of HAM. I thing King Charles had the opportunity to be a better person than he is. But he didn’t take that. He is a selfish person. He has had every kind of opportunity that anyone could imagine. He is doing his best i am sure. His younger son is absolutely gone. Whatever that looks like to him. I was far too invested. I don’t really care. I don’t believe this book and the shenanigans of Ham can have any affect on the monarchy. But you will all be gone quite soon as there is no relevancy.
