While I have been known to say that the turning up is the main point of a visit and not the clothes they should be appropriate! Harry is such a scruff with his faded blacks on and scuffed old desert boots. As a former military man he should be decently dressed and behave appropriately. It seems all his training has deserted him completely. You can usually tell a military person by their bearing - him no. He's a slouch. I recall an absolutely awful boy at a school I taught at returning in his uniform as a Scots Guard. My god the difference. He actually came back to apologise for his behaviour.

The Cat in the Hat creates chaos basically. 🤷‍♀️

Right, thanks.
I've Googled "red velvet cake cat in the hat" and seen some nice cake-y renditions of said feline.
I guess that's it?

I dip in now and then. I remember the ozz tour thread, Can't remember what I posted.

My thing was the jam spread thing. You might remember my name from that, because I found the factory where their jam spread is made :-)

Hey, not that I feel the need to justify myself posting on what is now a high traffic subject. Just saying that is likely why you recognize the name.

Now. What I have not seen so far on these threads (I think) is speculation as to what the upcoming " As Ever, English Country Garden Range" will include. My guess is cider, or cider vinegar. Lovingly hand crafted from selected heirloom varieties of apples, grown in Royal orchards.

But actually, made in an industrial estate in Hull. With French apples.

I bet the apple picking vids are done and edited. Diaphanous dress and soft focus, bare feet tussle haired kids frolicking in the distance, happy flat capped men operating a 200 year old farmyard cider press, doffing said caps, and tennis stars in the country kitchen, learning from the master. The secrets of cider vinegar.

My guess is the Sainsburys deal fell through. And Tesco are not interested, because they already get supplied from that factory in Hull.

:-)

Sainsbury’s deal ? What have I missed ? I must admit to struggling to keep up this week due to extra public service events ( additional shifts in Foodbank)

WilliamsExtraSausage · 19/09/2026 15:38

Twat in a hat more like.

Anyway, here is the X official Invictus account with their post about the school visit. It’s worth it just for the comments

100%, Very very very much agree with this.

Please excuse the language but FFS he's been through Sandhurst, and then served for quite a few years as an officer.

Now here I'm assuming but at least prior to his flying phase he must have spent time leading/addressing/briefing his section/platoon or whatever of troops.

He should have retained enough of that "lived experience" to be able to judge an occasion, dress appropriately for that occasion, and be able to address a room full of individuals in a coherent manner.

If he now needs M to steer him or hold his hand at public events something has changed...

Starryfifty · 19/09/2026 15:51

The comments on x are pretty damning and a lot of concern over his drug use

Not only should Harry know this due to his military training, you would think that he would also know from his time in the RF what style of dress is appropriate. So despite this double whammy, it’s all gone 🤷‍♀️

Starryfifty · 19/09/2026 15:57

I saw a clip of Edward chatting to children. Out of all the RF I would consider him quite uncharismatic but he was brilliant with them. Very funny and knowledgeable

Multibarpack · 19/09/2026 15:58

RedTagAlan · 19/09/2026 14:55

Because what Harry is saying here, to school kids, is that if you get injured while serving the King, my father, don't worry, I will pick up the pieces and make sure you are recognized as a hero.

Is that not glorifying war, to a young audience ?

I wouldn’t want Harry near any school my kids attend. Not just under the banner Invinctus but also anything to do with mental health and children (or anything else for that matter).

RedTagAlan · 19/09/2026 15:58

jeffgoldblum · 19/09/2026 15:31

🤣 you could well be correct!! , all that sounds entirely plausible…I have looked on a forum on Reddit and a few more as ever launches have been posted, none very inspiring, so I didn’t bother posting them here but if you are interested I can screenshot and plop?

That's ok thanks. I am just speculating.

Thanks for these threads by the way. Much appreciated.

Starryfifty · 19/09/2026 16:00

Should have finished last post. H has zero personality/ charisma. The kid who complained about the six cameras in his face? H should have taken his feelings on board but didn't. Proceeded jumping around pointing to his crotch

You’d have to be resilient to put up with that charade for an afternoon.

Well, there you go - a learning opportunity from Harry after all Grin

If we're all right about him being stoned he could feature in PSHE too, or wherever it is that they teach "Stay away from drugs, kids, or you could turn out like that"

In that recent article that was archived a 'friend' is quoted as saying they expected to be able to use the bus lanes.....the arrogance! And that the dry school run was done in July - it just goes to show how completely out of touch they are. I have never, ever heard of someone starting their kids in one school and then changing because of practicalities within days. Most parents put so much thought and care into their children starting school.

The videos from the school....I'm cringing watching them. And some very valid points have been made about these children appearing now on social media when we all know how Harry is against children appearing on SM.. His waffly talk about being hurt and gaining perspective was horrible to listen to.... What an incredibly privileged life Harry has had - the best education money can buy, opportunities to travel all over the world and meet amazing people - and he doesn't take the time to write some words and deliver them in an engaging way

Wouldn't it be amazing if HaM just called it as it is....'we messed up, we're broke, we want to rebuild our lives in the UK' and did a reality programme on it. But that's just not who they are..

Bear in mind as you read these DOs and DON'Ts to arranging a school that Meghan is fanatical about detail and very worried about securidy:

  1. DO select a school because lots of posh boy actors went there, and learnt how to breath fire and be frightening like an extinct beast
  2. DO NOT check how far the school is from the massive house you are living in rent free
  3. DO NOT check how long the journey from your rent-free massive house to the school will take
  4. DO watch your securidy team do a dummy (😆) run in the school holidays and feel reassured
  5. DO NOT read the duration of the school day for your children's year group because the fact that one finishes lh hour and 20 minutes before the other makes no difference to pick-up arrangements
  6. DO add yourself to the class WhatsApp chat so c.100 people you have never met or had security screened can contact you

The bus lane comment is causing me great merriment, especially the word 'even': 'We weren't even allowed to use the bus lane.'

Listen, HAM, when I motored down a short stretch of an empty bus lane in the Islington rush hour in 1989 in order to do a left turn, I was pulled over by a policeman. And I wasn't even part of a motorcade. To this day, I remain convinced that I got away with a verbal caution because a) I turned off 'Legend' at speed b) I was humble. I digress. HAM have so much in common with Boris Johnson and Donald Trump: they want to be World King or Mon-ark, as M says, because we don't do gendered language.

A securidy expert on The Daily T estimates the bill for HAM'S securidy would be £7m to £12m pa. The route to school would have to be changed each day. As the Extinct-Firebreathing-Creature School can only be approached by one narrow lane, it was always going to be a non-starter. One as to wonder about the competence of HAM's private securidy. Did they even do a recce?

Typo

Starryfifty · 19/09/2026 16:09

His self indulgent word salad is just horrendous. It's the same old shite time and time again. I'm pretty sure Meg writes them for him

MeghanAndTheSeals · 19/09/2026 16:09

Meghan using the swan emoji on that post is very telling indeed - I try not to use sweeping judgements, but what a cow!

It definitely has nothing even remotely connected to her brand, unless she’s planning to add something like swan pie to her new UK range - which wouldn’t surprise me given the amount of research she seems to put into most of her endeavours 😂

The classroom is not H's natural environment. If he knew what he was doing, he would crouch down or sit at the table, not tower above the pupils.

I certainly wouldn't want my children or grandchildren listening to the badly written, thoroughly depressing and demoralising speech he gave.
Dreadful message.

A bad move from HAM. CS is getting slated over this book and he is coming off very badly. If HAM aren't careful, there will be no more cosy teas with the "adored grandchildren "

I still can't get over the hypocrisy of so many of the schoolchildren being videoed and put all over TwiX. Did they all give consent? Who was making the videos?

It's incredibly identifying for children to be photographed or videoed in their school uniform.

Totally agree. How DARE they?

Starryfifty · 19/09/2026 16:18

He's a self confessed drug user. I'm baffled he'd be allowed a school visit
