Buckingham Palace have said they won't be commenting further on the book. But I expect plenty of others will be and it's not even published yet so I started this second thread. I really liked Diana and thought she got treated shabbily by Charles. But really writing a book of gripes 30 years later is not on imho. I noticed on the news Harry declined to comment on it. Sensible decision for once.

I read that Diana wanted the Garden House. Police advised against it due to it being only 100 yards from the main road meaning security would be challenging.

Anecdotally , my brother bought into a fair few conspiracy theories, courtesy of some rather dubious you-tubers, when he was younger. We got a bit concerned at one point but, pleased to report he came out the other side and now he’s a bit embarrassed when he looks back on that time.

Spencer is believed. He is believed worldwide .

I think the crazier people are the ones on here who think the Royal Family can do no wrong.

In the letter to Diana where he tells her no, her brother says he didn’t want his and his wife’s lives to be disrupted, and that he was employing a new staff member who would be moving into the house he had previously agreed she could have.

Your first sentence is irrelevant. If you want to watch these programmes on whatever platform, that's your choice.

There were paparazzi on two motorcycles who managed to get very close to the Mercedes. The "laser" was almost certainly camera flashes that were intensified by being in a tunnel.

In an interview on Radio 4 today David Dimbleby has said that to this day Diana is still deeply resented by Buckingham Palace. He is a long standing and very respected commentator on many issues.

The ones who write that it's a crazy idea and a conspiracy idea, that Charles could possibly kill his ex wife. Just because he is Royal.

If a regular woman wrote in a letter to her friend 'my husband is planning an accident in my car' and then she was killed in a car crash. People would be suspicious.

Sadly, too many men HAVE killed their ex wives.

"I know you will be disappointed but I know I am doing the right thing for my wife and children. I am just sorry I cannot help my sister! Seriously though, there are farmhouses around here that may well not interfere with us, but I cannot afford to give them rent-free, although I wish I could. In theory, it would be lovely to help you out and I am sorry I can't do that. Victoria and I really value our privacy and the combined pressure of the Northants police, neighbours and friends have definitely compromised that. If you are really interested in renting a farmhouse, either here or in Warwickshire or Norfolk, that would be wonderful”.

Diana wrote in the very same letter that Charles was planning the car crash so he could marry Tiggy Legge-Bourke, the boys’ nanny, and that Camilla was “just a decoy”. Funny no one ever mentions that context…

People have said that Martin Bashir told Princess Diana that Charles and Tiggy Legge Bourke were having an affair. He produced forged papers to prove it to her.
