Buckingham Palace have said they won't be commenting further on the book. But I expect plenty of others will be and it's not even published yet so I started this second thread. I really liked Diana and thought she got treated shabbily by Charles. But really writing a book of gripes 30 years later is not on imho. I noticed on the news Harry declined to comment on it. Sensible decision for once.

What I mean is ES writing that KC was as happy as a lottery winner after Diana died, is defintiely going to add fuel to the theory that they killed Diana.

My elderly mother rang me yesterday and said "I've always thought that the Royal Family killed Diana"

Diana’s state of mind was absolutely shot at the time. Martin Bashir had told her that royal security was spying on her and that’s why she ditched it in favour of the Fayed.

Bashir had put all kinds of fears into her mind so she probably was absolutely paranoid at that time. He was manipulating her for his personal gain.

if anyone is guilty of D’s death it was Dodi and M Bashir.

The same as our minds would prefer for KC to be a kindly, doddery old man, rather than a man who could be as cruel as to say 'we will forget Diana soon enough' to her brother

I was finding the different views on the book quite interesting. Now to find that it is being seen as supporting the debunked conspiracies around Diana's death is disappointing. I don't think Charles S expected that to be the outcome.

Yes, I heard that the laser was operated by Princess Anne because Dodi once said the Horse of the Year Show was boring. I think Anne also set up the Moon landings with the Duchess of Gloucester and Princess Alexandra.
