I do wonder if there is actually any school that will be able to meet their expectations in regard to security. I'm interested to see how it all plays out.

I just watched a piece on the BBC where a retired Royal Protection officer made the point that in his opinion female MPs had a much greater security need than H and M. As a taxpayer, I quite agree.

Uprooting the family and the children from their Californian school to a country that Harry has said is unsafe for his family, then not bothering to work out the simple logistics of the school run beforehand is unhinged!

What fears ?
i don't think anybody wants these little children hurt or frightened.they are talking about their parents behaviour, which imo is unhinged and paranoid, other minor Royals manage to live their lives send their small children to school without this level of drama,
Prince Harry needs to learn how to live another way because this is the life he chose, but he is hyper vigilant and paranoid and I think this has rubbed off onto his wife, which will have a knock on effect on the children he wants infact is demanding that they need specialised security this is why they have been withdrawn from school,and that is what posters are commenting on.

I'm.starting to think they are both a bit odd.

Do you think it is not unhinged not to have properly researched the school run and the impact actual road traffic has on it before you put the poor kids in school then removed them after two days? Do you think they are in danger because there is traffic? How does anyone manage to send their children to school because, cars? Do you not think it seems to be a massive coincidence that RAVEC are about to review their security and suddenly the children are “in danger”. Were you born yesterday?

I think it also highlights the complete lack of experience/connection for what normal
life in the UK is like. Harry has probably never really experienced a school rush traffic jam because he would have been police escorted everywhere. And 20 miles through semi rural Britain is rather different to 20 miles in the US. BUT I hear you say - the relo agents, the staff, the PAs. It’s just bonkers they’ve ended up in this situation, those poor, poor children, and moreover that it’s being done so bloody publicly.

As recently as last year Harry said he could never bring his wife and children to the UK because they wouldn't be safe.

I’d have decided on a lovely school like the one above & worked through a shortlist of similar. A fantastic UK education a gift & it would have been a top priority! Then the housing…

Why didn’t they use an educational consultant (?) & get them to co-ordinate with security (?)

Thousands and thousands of Brits move abroad and send their dc to school in a different country every year! Lots if the kids benefit from the experience!

Meghan is no fool & lived a normal life. Surely she’d have use consultants etc. It’s puzzling. How can an A type personality not have thought things through?

It's funny how people still claim that it's the DM's fault, rather than looking at what this couple actually say and do and publicise themselves.

The difference being that their parents have planned the move carefully and have prioritised their chilren's education, happiness and general well-being, they've not been trying to get a leg up through their children.

How much would it cost them to privately hire security for a year? The kids are young, so will either be at school or with their parents. They could easily employ a small team of trusted, well trained close protection officers to give that sense of safety on school runs and family outings. I'm not sure why they're not opting for that very obvious solution

Oh yes and it’s a massive coincidence that their children just happen to be of school age I suppose and that absolutely must mean that both of them were conceived with the timing of RAVEC meetings in mind! 🙄

Of course they do. No one is disputing that. But anyone who sends their children to a different country to school will presumably have done research and proper planning beforehand. Not rocked up ten days or so before term starts with nowhere permanent to live and no real idea of what the school run entails during actual term time. I’m not sure what your point is?
