Breaking news in the Daily Mail. Duke and Duchess of Sussex's children 'removed from school after two days' mol.im/a/16130877 via https://dailym.ai/android

I do wonder if there is actually any school that will be able to meet their expectations in regard to security. I'm interested to see how it all plays out.

It's literally to push the we need security crap. Just like their NYC 'car chase'. They are repulsive, using their kids like this.

Absolutely.

Williaminagingerwig · Yesterday 09:04

Those are all good points, @DorsetTea, I'm sorry to hear that you had such an experience, and what you said about Karen Matthews makes sense.
Add in a heavy dose of self entitlement and paranoia, and that's the Sussexes.

Winterizcoming · Yesterday 09:04

I do feel so sorry for the children. There’s such a pattern of behaviour with their parents here, it’s predictable.

Meghan’s narcissistic behaviour would appear to drive all the decisions they have made over the years. Harry was a vulnerable man when they married and she became his ‘saviour’. She clearly wears the trousers and as his mental health has deteriorated he’s been less and less able to see the wood from the trees. Narcissistic decisions are made on the spur of the moment, so all the twists and turns over the years which to outsiders seems bizarre all look quite predictable when viewed through the lense of narcissism.

Oh yes, that was "near catastrophic" wasn't it?

Can I offer a different thought here. I know it’s not popular but I think it’s relevant.
H&M are hated, as proved by this thread and others, people do not like them and that automatically creates a threat. It takes one radical who decides they will do it for the greater good and you have an incident on your hands.

The press learned their location this week, yes M posted the photos but the press have compared these photos to satellite imaging to find them (stalkers much!). Let’s not forget the wales’ also very publically post their location but the difference is the security. As parents, if we were hated as much as they are, I’m sure we would all think shit the kids and make sure they are safe.
Personally where the children are involved (who are innocent in all this and would
probably like a relationship with their grandparents and cousins etc) I don’t see why security would not be offered just out of some common sense!

The Wales have to tell people their locations (as in where they live and where their children go to school) because they are the direct line of succession to the throne and partly funded by taxpayers. The quid pro quo is that they have full-time security. There is no need for Harry and Meghan to tell anyone where they live or details of their children’s school arrangements, or to post pictures of the children on their mother’s social media. To the extent there is a security risk, they are contributing to that risk by their own actions then demanding taxpayer funded support. They are behaving like spoilt toddlers.

They are hated because of their own actions, why should taxpayers have to pay for them to feel safe? They are not working royals. They wanted to earn their own money. They’re only back because it all dried up.

@metellaestinatrio ‘yes M posted the photos”

this 👏is 👏the 👏problem👏

why publish photos of your kids, faces hidden or not, at all if security concerns are an issue??

its just not necessary. Plenty of celebs never put their kids in the public eye.

MurphysColeslaw · Yesterday 09:10

Just because they posted photos of an easily identifiable area , doesn’t mean that’s where they live surely?
They might just have been there for a day trip or something.
Is t there just way too much speculation about schools and houses?

I could give this more credence if William hadn't been through exactly the same traumatic childhood. Harry acts like he's the only person who has ever suffered or been traumatized and the only person who has a right to complain. He's unable to see that millions of people around the world have gone through bad things, including his own brother who suffered through the same things he did. Possibly more, since there are stories of Diana subjecting William to emotional parentification and dumping her baggage on him. And his wife had cancer, so again, Harry's not the only one who's been confronted with the possibility of losing a spouse.

But he can't see any of that, and somehow William has managed to live his life without living in total dysfunction, alienating everyone around him and launching vicious public attacks on his family.

The whole thing is so sad. I can't see this marriage lasting long-term. Two damaged people who have had no good models for relationships and share only dysfunction in common, is not a good foundation. And when it inevitably falls apart, Harry's going to realize he needs his family, only he's burnt every bridge. But I feel even worse for his kids. William grew up in the same dysfunction and seems to have manage to model better for his own children. Harry just can't get out of his own way. The whole thing is pitiful. Pulling your kids out of school after 2 days is just another iteration of a long list of bad choices that keeps growing.

You are way too invested in this. It reads a bit insane tbh.

It’s well known that multiple people can experience the same traumatic event and not develop PTSD where others will. You are just contorting in order to justify your parasocial dislike of a stranger. You know nothing about their marriage and whether it’s dysfunctional.

I honestly think people on this thread need to take a really hard look at theirselves. To others the obsession seems weird and unhealthy.

Are they actually living there? Could they have been visiting or spending the weekend?

Fair question...

Definitely, when you view it all through that lens it makes perfect sense. The video with the union flag and a heart was an attempted love bombing imo of the people they hope will fund them. The problem they have is that that sort of narcissistic manipulation usually happens over a longer period of time than they appear to have. I feel so sorry for those children.

Lochroy · Yesterday 09:15

So will someone here say where they are living?

Lots of references to the bridge in the photos but no one has yet said where it is.

I’ve just thrown “Meghan Markle bridge photo” into Xtwitter and it’s thrown up loads of posts saying they are living on an unused property on a huge private estate called Rowler Manor. Complete with private lake and bridge hence people claiming to have identified the bridge. So whilst they might not be living there, it’s not like they’ve posted the bridges in Bourton on the Water and we’re just sightseeing for the day.
Which if she hadn’t posted, we wouldn’t really care about where they lived because we’d probably just assume so grandiose Beckham style pile. Not with a lake of such scale which is of course going to incite conversation.
I’m surprised they didn’t try and buy Blenheim Palace, the way they’re going.

Games? Have you heard yourself?! I’m getting mightily sick of this trend of ‘hating Harry & Meghan because they dared to leave the UK’ YAWN!

I think that’s the only good thing they did. Hallelujah!

I wish they’d clear off back there with their nonsense. I can see endless stupid stunts from these two clowns unless they do.

Most other celebs aren't living for publicity, though. They'll use the children because it gets the clicks.

The biggest risk to these children’s security is their bloody parents and their shenanigans

This, they are a ridiculous pair!

welshgirl2025 · Yesterday 09:17

All part of Harrys little game to ensure he gets his security for his family. So unsafe here that they came back here to live!!

Sereine · Yesterday 09:18

I never read the Mail, and was very much in favour of Meghan when they got married: I thought she would be breath of fresh air, and the fact that she pissed off the Mail was, if anything, a bonus.

I'm afraid, however, that issues like all those lies they told on Netflix and in Spare definitely put me off, to say nothing of what Harry disclosed about his own behaviour and values in the book. The subsequent desperation for publicity whilst proclaiming that they want to be left alone doesn't exactly help. It's impossible to avoid the suspicion that all the current nonsense is directed at the second volume of "Poor Me, I'm no longer the Spare", but when they mess up their children to achieve this it really isn't impressive.

CoffeeCantata · Yesterday 09:18

Why would you put your children through it?

Narcissism - you use everyone, even your nearest and dearest, to get what you want to aggrandise yourself.

Delphigirl · Yesterday 09:19

This is the most unhinged vicious thread I've ever read. Two parents have had to remove their small children from school after 2 days because of fears for their security and you are all crowing over it and speculating that they have put their kids in danger on purpose? You should be ashamed of yourselves. Unhinged.

Daygloboo · Yesterday 09:20

Laiste · 14/09/2026 20:53

Of course they are.

This is all been calculated. We'll do x, ask for y, but if z happens (like it has) we'll do a, b and then if that doesn't work - c ! That'll show 'em!

And then theyll flounce off back abroad and be able to wring their hands in an interview and say tearfully ''We tried .... so hard .... to forgive and forget - but look how they treated us ...... AGAIN !!!!!! ...''

And then maybe another book?

Edited

Surely even they wouldn't be as ridiculous as that.

CoffeeCantata · Yesterday 09:22

Surely RAVEC bases security provision on intelligence about known threats, not on anyone’s individual say-so?

Doesn’t H understand this? MI5/6 or whatever will be the source of the information they base any decision on. Imagined car chases through North Oxford, no.

Williaminagingerwig · Yesterday 09:22

Daygloboo · Yesterday 09:20

Well, each time people say that, more ridiculous behaviour emerges!

Zuve · Yesterday 09:22

Oh yes, this is all calculated to give publicity for them. They looked at the school before starting. They knew what's it like. Then it's all drama
