If titles are removed, Meg is gone. However, RF will take H in, as a family member. He can't survive on his own. It may be the best thing for him in the long run

Yes, Princess Anne seems particularly good at it, and W and C aren't bad either. HAM just don't seem to bother, or to realise it's not about them, and that you let others speak and then respond and ask questions.

QE was excellent too (and yes, I know they're briefed ,but you have to take it in, which HAM don't seem to). A fervent republican colleague of mine went to an awards ceremony, and came back quite the monarchist as she'd asked good questions about his academic research amd followed up his responses with others. 👋 puzzled , honestly nothing further, it’s been reported that she was spotted twice at soho house and according to rumours and Neil Sean , she is here and the media knows where they are but are not reporting on their whereabouts, if true it seems like an almost comical punishment for someone so obsessed with publicity!

I think the problem is that the removal of titles would need to be total. Letters patent supported by parliament can make him plain Harry Windsor. He would no longer be a Prince or a Duke. That way, his wife cant call herself either a Duchess or Princess and then their children are just plain Archie and Lily.
I agree with you. Its a straightforward thing so Charles just needs to get on with it.

If it requires action by parliament, then it's not that straightforward. The King can't just tell parliament what to do. Some might argue that parliament isn't there to sort out the King's family squabbles.

When does it cease to be a family affair, which is not a matter for parliament, and become a constitutional issue, on which the King must act on the advice of his Prime Minister, and what advice is the Prime Minister giving him (which we won't know, of course)?

I remember an account from a representative of one of the indigenous people of Australia. He'd been invited to the Palace as part of the Jubilee celebrations. He said that in his whole life he'd never been treated with such kindness, courtesy and respect as he was by the late Queen.
He'd had a hard life, but I thought that was very touching.

Just been watching the Great North Run. Andy Burnham was running and being interviewed at the end. He obviously had security but I couldn't see them and he was being interviewed like any other finisher.

It really contrasted with all the whingeing from H&M and their desperation to be important.

Honestly blue if ever we needed proof that ham are the “sources “ it’s this ! , how many people are this clueless about something that has been explained clearly by the king!

Rather debatable that they are working or that they work.

Princes Anne opened a building for the environmental charity I was working for. She came in tweed skirt, jumper, practical, unfashionable suede boots and a warm coat. She was excellent and showed an absolutely genuine and deep interest in the organisation.
