In other words, someone very able to advise on an appropriate way to respond to a leader of a Commonwealth country expressing concern about His Majesty's wishes.

I wasn't convinced they actually had a definite school. I suspect this is to hide that they hadn't actually been enrolled anywhere by giving an excuse as to why they start part way through term - and to try and get a bit of sympathy.

Seriously, a convoy?!?
No one needs a security convoy to do the school run. Does Zara have a security convoy to get her children to school?

Could that be having to stop at a zebra crossing to let some school children safely get across the road.

IMHO, it is possible that HaM may have been asked to leave by the school if all they are bringing is chaos and confusion.

Other high net worth parents may have been upset by the breadcrumbs HaM are dishing to the press as their own children's security may have been compromised by HaM's dogged pursuit of column inches.

Term's fees forfeited then? Plus fees for their California school if it's true they didn't give notice?

What sort of muppets have they got doing their security if they didn't anticipate traffic? Not ex-police, presumably.

Mad. And if they were crawling through traffic in Oxford it’s highly likely one car would make it through a traffic light and following car/s get stuck.

Are they really thinking if they get this security they will scream in with a convoy of flashing lights and hold ups for other traffic? Twice a day throughout term? Way to make themselves popular with locals and other parents. 🤦‍♀️

Ok while I have time not that anyone asked or probably wants to know …… after reading the articles from both the dm and the t , reading comments here and thinking about it ….i lean towards it being a diplomatic necessity with a small but … I agree the optics look bad and might give rise to the image of pandering….however ultimately I think once again this is purely hams fault ! Had Harry kept silent and not challenged the king’s statement in such a disgusting manner the likelihood of Uganda releasing that tweet is nil and in my view the reason for the delay before Charles got involved is for the same reason, had Harry just kept silent it would have been ignored I believe but no again Harry flaps his gob and disrespectfully blames Charles again…I think the response from Charles was then needed before there might well have been another response from Uganda….nobody wants a public spat between Harry and Uganda on the world stage and damaging relations between our two countries…….. in short ….its all hams fault as per usual!

If it was the school in north Oxford, then term there didn’t start until last Thursday or Friday 🤷‍♀️

They are indeed. There was a portrait released of Lilibet on her 1st birthday, she looked very sweet!
We've seen full pictures of Archie, too. He was cute as well.

Ha! I wasn't and have photos to prove it. My sister (almost 8 years younger) was gorgeous, though. Curiously, over the years things evened out.

I see this as well with my 4 youngest grandson and my 19 year old eldest grandson. Also my youngest granddaughter and my 2 oldest granddaughters aged 21 and 16. It’s beautiful to see. Your son must have a very special way about him.

Only these two absolute fools could get choosing a childs school so wrong.

I can recall seeing the pictures of Archie at the 4th of July parade before they were pulled from the internet and he looked very sweet and gentle. Lily also looked like a happy wee thing in her blue dress on her birthday photo.

Poor kids having to move schools again so abruptly.

I've been (mostly) a lurker since the first thread, but really wanted to add a couple of points that have been on my mind.

I routinely hear people say "MM would never leave him because the title means everything to her".

I will die on this hill.... Regardless of what the future brings for HAM's relationship, that woman will continue to use the title until the day she dies.

The British monarchy could literally collapse and she'd spout some ridiculous word salad to justify the continued use of the moniker. She will always be a Duchess (in her head) in face of facts or ridicule.

The sheer RESENTMENT in this man-child's face... He's absolutely furious about being largely ignored, corralled with the populace and not being treated with the deference he feels is owed to him. His body language is screaming it.

Also, I hope they didn't tell the children that and scare them.

Can they get anything right? Everything is done on impulse or a whim. Those poor children. They have a lifetime of drama ahead of them.
