I am actually wondering if H will go now . Branson is friendly with the Middletons and I am fairly sure W and C are friendly with Branson’s kids .
Like it if not people will pick a side .

I feel pretty safe in saying Branson would be missed - Harry much less so

Also all credit to Richard for still working to support others after the recent tragic loss of his wife; if only the idiot prince could match his approach

I wonder if there is any truth to H sniffing round the military asking for a role?

It certainly would explain ‘that’ clarification letter - much more so than anyone wondering if Mabel from the knitting circle should curtsey to them or if the palace can provide barriers for the crowds beside Greggs.

Well he is apparently very keen to participate in Remembrance Day and marching with other veterans doesn’t seem to appeal 🤷‍♀️

I think the separate-entity licence for each local board must have an end date on it, @bluegreygreen? So then legally winds up. If that's the case I'd also love to know what happens with any local debts accrued and outstanding. Is the host local authority or government expected to absorb them (out of Contingency?), or do they pass to the main Invictus Board of Trustees chaired by Allen for payment?

I know some accounts are eventually published but there was a lot in the Invictus Whistler accounts that were redacted, thinking back to Rachel Maxwell's YT videos.

Harry's not clever enough to have fucked this up on his own.

IMHO, H is a useful idiot for Invictus in much the same manner his godfather Andrew was a useful idiot for the former Lord Mandelson.

As I have said since the Germany games and maintain to this day, the red flags around Invictus are plentiful enough to outfit a communist party plenary session many times over.

IMHO, H is one decent investigative journalist away from having Invictus erupt into a financial scandal that will consume the HaMs, Lord Allen et al.

I wonder what Enty will have say tonight on X ?

Can I just pop in to say that Mike Tindall does a lot of work for Parkinson’s Society . His Dad has lived with Parkinson’s for many years .

Yet another learning opportunity Flowers and what a worthwhile thing for Mike to do

Funny how he doesn't bang on and on and ON about this isn't it?

StaySpicy · 10/09/2026 15:35

They're talking about the Ugandan announcement withdrawing from Ingriftus on LBC right now.

Looks like Richard Branson doesn’t want to be linked to the HaMs either.

Ouch ! 😬

I'm not on X, so do appreciate your passing the links on. Grin

I think Harry needs to be sectioned

Another lurker here. I am thoroughly enjoying reading this thread, but your comment just made me spit out my coffee!

I know someone who is involved and is very complimentary about him.

JCitsWetheHammiewevecomehome · 10/09/2026 15:40

Will he do an interview with Chris Ship to set the British public and RF straight ?

HoldMyWine · 10/09/2026 15:42

I’d bet my mortgage they will have flounced off before any Remembrance Day Services.

Where else has Ian Wace got a house 😂

I think he grew up in the West Indies. I’m sure the Ham’s would love to head over there.

I agree with you, @My2cents1975, and while aware that such people often sit on stories until the time seems ripe, I'm rather surprised nothing's emerged so far

I totally get @bluegreygreen's point about there being so much mess that Harry's charities may be scrambling to catch up, but for those with any principles at all, it seems the only possible response now is to sever every link or face going down with him

And there's at least some good news about Remembrance Day, @Mylovelygreendress, in that after the palace we're so clear about Harry no longer being in the WRF, there can surely be no question of him attending in any official capacity
(Edited to add also lovely to hear that Mike's appreciated)

And surely this is where charities do best? When people with a close emotional connection or shared experience support a charity? So it's nothing about prestige, showing off at events etc but trying to make the world a better place for people who are experiencing difficulties, one way or another?

I've never understood how H can attend the events he has and not be humbled by the courage of the people he meets. Just thinking about the competitors at Invictus or the seriously ill children at the Well Child awards, so many stories of suffering and courage, yet it's all about HIM!

It's sad because I don't think he was like this originally when the Invictus Games was set up and I believe he truly had empathy with sick children, but it feels to me as though everything has changed and his desperation to be seen in a certain role has trumped the true purpose of supporting these charities

A spare copy?

The place my DD volunteers was clearing out stores recently and came across a couple of boxes of a book that someone had written but that never sold (very very niche) so we’re handing out copies to all there volunteers to basically get rid of them rather than put them to recycling. Similar vibes.

I've had a quick google and, although it says that the awards are held in autumn, typically September, no date has been released for 2026.

Methinks there may be a reason for this . . . .

Forgive me, Jeff - I know it wasn't me you asked, but I just googled this and it says the 2026 awards were slated to be held on the 8 September, just a couple of days ago

I've no idea whether a mistake's been made here, but if it's right I'm not aware Harry was present?

Hmmm 🤔, I may be remembering wrong or losing my marbles….but I’m almost certain that ham released an itinerary of events they / he was attending with dates and I’m even more sure that well child was amongst those listed!!

Ah thanks puzzled ! , so I’m not losing my marbles! They did release an itinerary with dates that included well child didn’t they??
edit to add ! And it definitely stated that Harry would be attending!

Please ignore this. I re-googled after @Puzzledandpissedoff posted below ~ it looks as though she is correct and I am wrong

Many apologies for my error . . .
