I think the separate-entity licence for each local board must have an end date on it, @bluegreygreen? So then legally winds up. If that's the case I'd also love to know what happens with any local debts accrued and outstanding. Is the host local authority or government expected to absorb them (out of Contingency?), or do they pass to the main Invictus Board of Trustees chaired by Allen for payment?

I know some accounts are eventually published but there was a lot in the Invictus Whistler accounts that were redacted, thinking back to Rachel Maxwell's YT videos.

There’s a very funny reel in these parts about a kidnapper phoning a woman and saying if you want your son back it will cost you x amount. The woman, who’s actually a grown man role playing says ‘ I’m not paying you anything for him, he’s a donkey, but if you have his cousin there as well I’ll pay for him, he’s a Dr, he’s this, he’s that, (he’s basically wonderful).

From my understanding the invictus games are run under a license type arrangement from the foundation (the games pay a fee to the foundation to use the name and branding). The games themselves run financially separate to the foundation. Anyone can look at the published accounts for the foundation on Companies House. The games finances are reported by the foundation but are nice and vague. I think the games are then wound up as an entity. Sorry if people already know this as i think its been discussed before.
