A continuation of our continuing discussion of our favourite private citizens! 😁

Is there any way one of you tech savvy people can make sure that HAMs advisers are reading these threads and feeding back to them??

I dont think they will be in the UK for long, They know wont be welcomed back in the family and are being completely iced out. They are extremely unpopular in the UK. They have been very firmly told that they arent considered royalty anymore but are private citizens. They wont make any money here to continue their faux royal wealthy lifestyle.

I am hopeful that Ravecs current assessment comes back with the same result and denies them taxpayer funded security. If no security and nothing to grift off and the family has rejected them, then they will be leaving again in very short order.

Harry supposedly wants to cement their status as royalty and his kids as royalty but I dont see that happening if nobody in the family will see or speak to them and that announcement firmly puts them in their place

We know William quite sensibly has refused all contact and is totally ignoring Harrys efforts at forcing some kind of public acknowledgement. Neil Sean alluded that William refused to meet Harry when he returned in July and refused to meet Harrys kids. ( I take this with a pinch of salt but I think its probably correct)

If thats the way the wind is blowing then Harry wont be able to force William into either seeing or acknowledging him or the kids or allowing his kids to meet their royal cousins.

Where on earth can they go ? Surely they can't scurry back to Cali? Their kids are now in school.

Still waiting to hear from Richard Eden who was spouting off about Project Thaw to anyone who would listen .

Join the club; "what they say v what they do" + "make it make sense"

I’ve just joined on here. I’ve been lurking a bit for a while but these 2 just mess up my head. I had never even heard of MM before she was dating Harry. I had never watched Suits. Plus I haven’t watched the Oprah interview, any of the Netflix and I haven’t read Spare. Mainly because I think it is offensive against QEII.
I actually thought MM was olive skinned and had never thought of her as a POC (I’ll probably get attacked for that as it makes me “colour blind”) to me she was just a person and a successful actress at the time.
I never felt like the media were racist towards her. It wasn’t until PH made the statement that he thought media were being racist that I realised.

Hello lovelies.
Just sat waiting for my tablets to kick in watching The Professionals and reading the last 8 pages.
Oh I love ❤️ it here!

Anyway, two things.
1)It was mentioned upthread that Harry has spoken to Pa. I wonder if, while waiting to be connected he gets the automated message “Calls may be recorded for training and monitoring purposes” - because l bet a cheese hat every call he has with anyone in the RF is recorded.

2). Someone asked upthread about how are they paying for everything, I rather enojoy using chatGPT to help me work stuff out.
Anyhow, after working out mortgage payments/local property taxes/low end maintenance costs on Montecito monstrosity perviously -which came to £600k PA, Plus low level security on that place PLUS equal security on the bragged about but never seen Portuguese pad, plus running costs plus mortgage payments (estimated on a £5million property with an 80% mortgage LTV), Plus mortgage payments or substantial rent on the Cotswolds cottage they need a minimum of £2 million PA to cover that.
Now, this is EXCLUDING Security ( which is their single biggest cost estimated to be $£3.5 million, which is £2,584,000), school fees, staff, general spending on bills, food, clothes, travel, cars etc - so realistically we are looking at a post tax income of £6 million needed to just to maintain the lifestyle . And that’s not a Beckham lifestyle either.
Here’s where it gets interesting.
Look at this screenshot from Chat which has worked out how much capital would need to be invested to get £2 million. It’s quite a lot isn’t it even if you manage to get 8-9% return.
So we can clearly see why they are absolutely desperate for us to pay for their security. If Harry’s ‘after dinner speaking fees’ are now $50000AUd thats £26,610. Now, while that’s nice for us mere mortals Harry would have to work 213 days to get £3 million after tax. Do we really think there’s 213 companies every year who would pay him that to hear him speak about himself, his wife and his dead mother ? The after dinner circuit has plenty of grea5 orators on it who people actually WANT to hear.
And where would the other 3 million come from? “Jam”??

S9 here’s the screenshot.
They need around £40 million for £2 million post tax profit.
They haven’t got it. They are shitting themselves.

You have forgotten to factor in private jet flights - a return trip from California for London is about £400k

Oh excellent lunde! , does he retain Cambridge too? Because then it’s no battle!

Yep
So Wales, Cornwall, Cambridge .... the Duchy of Cornwall also owns a lot of land in Kent and warehouses in Milton Keynes

Perhaps Soho Farmhouse in the Cotswolds is a safe haven 😂

Lunde · 09/09/2026 17:20

SqueakyDinosaur · 09/09/2026 16:33

I think William would be perfectly within his rights to hand off Cambridge to George if he wanted to. Viscount (James) Severn got upgraded to Earl of Wessex at 15 when Prince Edward was created Duke of Edinburgh. But if he hasn't, then AFAIK it is still his.

Edited

I think Cambridge may go to one of the younger kids as George will be Prince of Wales/Duke of Cornwall

They are indeed, Jeff, but given their utter failure so far I really would have thought this a time to shut up if either really hopes for any kind of acceptance again

Time and again they show they've learned precisely nothing and that they'll never be able to offer a safe pair of hands, so what's the point of it all now,?

puzzled after all these years ? I don’t think either of us will ever know or understand! , I believe that all of us here are approaching things from a logical perspective of what we would do and it seems obvious to us , Harry however as much as it pains me to be so direct..is not normal, his upbringing wasn’t suitable for his natural tendencies and lack of intelligence, his frankly vindictiveness and bullying nature combined with no correction and massive ego had turned a wayward child into an uncontrollable adult with the emotional intelligence of a child .
he won’t learn now it’s too late, his personality is set , I’m afraid only something catastrophic will change his behaviour.

The point raised earlier about IDF's participation in Invictus is interesting. It highlights the problem of having any ambiguity about H's role. The Royal Family need to be in step with the government's foreign policy. All his charities seem to end up in a mess.

Not sure if this has been posted before - Express: Harry and Meghan now ‘starting to question’ UK move

https://archive.is/K7tpl

My thoughts
-took them less time than I expected
-I see the spin is that the letter was William's fault ... They always do that - blame the person who's not currently in charge, forgetting that they will be in charge next.

So predictable!

Agree. There is no logical thinking here. I, like most of ye here, assumed they were coming back to UK to build bridges (slither back into the Royal fold) which absolutely would be the best thing for them and their children. But no. How are they not utterly exhausted and stressed from all of this ?

No idea..but its clear that they arent going to have an easy time of it in the UK after the damage they have done to both their relationship with the RF and the damage to their credibility globally.

They are seen as a pair of ungrateful lying, whinging grifters who exploited their royal connections for money whilst simultaneously attacking and insulting the RF. The only reason that the pair of them are back in the UK is to try and refresh the royal connection so their grift can continue.

The King just put a stop to that notion. The RF have made clear they are out permanently and have done so publicly so it stops their attempt at HiHo

Charlotte will become Princess Royal. She can’t be a duke and then there is the Duke of Edinburgh to be allocated too in due course, though that may stay a lifetime only one. Perhaps time to allow females to become Dukes? (Or get rid of them entirely).

Apologies if this has been posted in the three pages I've not yet caught up on.

So Uganda has pulled out of invictus because they don’t like hams shenanigans and won’t participate in anything which disrespects the king! , well i must admit this wasn’t on my bingo card!! From @jeffgoldblum on the last thread.

I haven't read the Times piece yet (hopefully shared in the this thread) but I wondered if from what I had read it was Harry trying to force KC hand.

https://www.thetimes.com/uk/royal-family/article/uganda-pulls-out-invictus-games-harry-meghan-pqk78s35s

Military chief said move was made out of respect for the King, adding the east African country ‘shall not participate in anything that does not have His Majesty’s approval’

Is this Harry trying to force KC approval?

A quick google offers up an estimated wealth in 2026 of around £45 million. So he may get his £2 million pa, though the value of this will reduce with inflation unless he reinvests some of his income.

Yes. Richie Richboy needs to be growing his capital as well as living off interest, given he’s only 41 and got a future of ineptitude to support.

Does he even have a financial advisor?

Good sums and summing btw, @DaisyDooley Grin

Really? Wow , thanks for sharing, I had no idea!

Apparently, he was absolutely besotted with her, but because of his rather murderous lifestyle, he wasn’t invited to the Silver Jubilee. The Queen was apparently quite concerned about the way his mind worked and was worried he might turn up anyway and gatecrash the whole thing. She told one of her courtiers that, if he did, she’d grab the Investiture Sword from another courtier and whack him over the head with it!

Those were days!

I could see it , but another poster has opened my eyes to the fact that they really do like our monarchy! 🤷‍♀️
also when I read the full article I was struck by a particular passage!
apparently some in his own military share sentiments and sympathy with ham!! He then goes on to say that he needed to stamp this out!
reading between those lines makes me think he doesn’t want anyone to get ideas about overthrowing the system ( his own) .
edit to add …it was the twearking duchess! 😁
