King Charles orders Harry and Meghan to be treated like ordinary citizens

Apparently an order has gone out from King Charles saying that Harry and Meghan are to be treated like ordinary citizens as they are not working members of the royal family. That's according to the DM so it must be right. The thought of those two being pleased at being ordinary is too much.

I wonder just how low they will keep their profile and if it's to do with them wishing to be involved in charities. I wouldn't be surprised if they try to set up their own mock royal court.

The King would do well to remember he is supposed to be head of the Anglican church so shouldn't he start behaving like a christian.

The Court of Appeal has already heard Harry’s version of why he should get security in the uk. It was heard by the Master of the Rolls and two others - so a top judge ! He said there was no legal reason to grant a change and Harry’s “sense of grievance” was not a legal reason to change his security arrangements. So the court didn’t listen to whinging Harry. It’s not gone to the Supreme Court so one assumes Harry wanted Papa to sort it out in his favour. He’s apparently refused - as he should. The statement is simply stating the position established over a year ago.

What is not Christian about this very practical, respectful, helpfully-clarifying official message?

Maybe if they had been a bit more forthcoming with their plans he would have been a bit gentler in his reiteration of what their position is.

In your own link, it quite clearly says kidnap 'attempt'. I remember it well and, while it was a shocking incident, I don't recall anyone actually being kidnapped - I think you are a tad confused tbh.

RAVEC are a body which assess security threats. They don't hand out services to whiny princelings on the basis of being 'keen'. They keep Harry's security needs under review, so in that sense he already 'has them'. However, they're not going to provide round the clock armed security to a private citizen just because it feeds his bruised ego.

on another thread and pointed out the popular misinterpretation of it. The prodigal son was contrite and didn’t feel he was deserving of his father’s forgiveness. So nothing like Harry then. It’s just a lazy way of trying to make Charles or any one else responsible for Harry’s twattish behaviour

And can Harry and Meghan stop putting their children on Mark Zuckerberg’s (the apparent antichrist’s) Instagram, and Meghan’s own money-making website, with details of their faces, smells, personalities, food preferences and clothes, attached to merched products? That might be a good idea.

Not at all confused. I think you are spectacularly missing the point here, attempt or successful. it was a pretty hairy situation that just about fell short of anybody being killed.

Today’s statement was a good start. Now sort things out in parliament to get titles removed from H&M, and get them and their children out of the line of succession, along with Andrew, theYork sisters and their children.

And the Counsellors of State list needs to be trimmed - looks like Andrew is still on it, along with Beatrice and Harry. They can all go.

I totally agree about the counsellors of state. This is an anachronism that needs to be dealt with. Unfortunately it’s incredibly hard to remove titles. AMW would have had his removed a long time ago if not.

I meant that HAM feel the need/want the informed security that only RAVEC bring, in contrast to their "privately paid" security.
I am perfectly aware of how RAVEC operate (and why), of course they won't provide full security unless it's deemed "necessary". Harry & Meghan clearly feel the necessity, none of us know what records or reports of threats they have read, there are still two children to be considered here, whatever any of us think of their parents and their actions.

I don't give a flying fck about Harry and Meghan and really dont understand why they occupy so much of people's thoughts in their head!
