Odd thing to say. Brush up on RAVEC’s ruling and you’ll understand.

Brusque thing to say. Rude, even.

There’s a logic to them keeping an eye on Harry.

Meghan and Harry have yet to be introduced to the torture that is Biff, Chip, Kipper and that Magic Bloody Key. Thoughts and prayers for them at this difficult time.

😨 you had to do it, didn't you? Just when I had finally stopped having nightmares...

OliveMyLove · 01/09/2026 12:14

Harry and family will get the security they need, obviously.

I am more interested in the media angle, anyway.

What do you think about Charlotte Griffiths’ report that she was alerted by Harry as to the place and time of the secret peace summit last year so that the Daily Mail would cover it?

Harry and family will get the security they need, obviously.

Which quite likely will not be the security Harry wants.

Good thing security decisions are not made on the basis of 'wants'.

AutumnCrowInEmeritoVeritas · 01/09/2026 12:19

Is Meghan even here in the UK? Is there even a school? I wouldn't believe a word these people come out with any more about anything.

Is Harry coming back a ruse because he thinks it'll be harder for William to remove his titles if he's present in the UK, not 'over there' in a far away land becoming increasingly irrelevant? (Which would mean H has heard a rumour that William is planning it, with or without Charles.)

@CoffeeCantata How is talking about people having "slitty eyes" antyhing other than "crude racism"? I do think that MM is a difficult person and having a narcissist/emotionally immature/histrionic mother I find her endlessly fascinating on a psychological level. I´m sure MM is a night mare to deal with, but some of the fawning over the royal family on here gets a bit tedious.

Well, I'd agree - I thought I'd said that in my last post - unacceptable. But no, I don't think he was a simple, moronic racist - it's more nuanced. I have read a lot about him, honestly, and that description isn't really justified. It was - what - 50+ years ago that he said that? Those 'jokey' (I'm not justifying them) references were viewed very differently, but no - he should not have said them - no argument there.

I was on a residential summer drama course organised by my LEA in 1976. We were given lessons in stage make up and one lesson was on 'racial types' where we were instructed on exactly this kind of crude stereotyping. The LEA was a Labour-dominated one and no-one thought there was anything wrong with this approach.

All I'm saying is - look at the time and the context. Very few people think differently from the prevailing mores of their time. Some do, yes, but most of us just accept the current thinking. In those days BAME people were fewer in the UK and the culture hadn't adjusted to them at all - they were still 'othered'.

I admit I’m having a hard time believing it too! , they have sullied their own reputations and frankly if they said it was raining I’d have to stick my head out the window to check!

I enjoyed Biff, Kipper et al. Always a joke in the illustrations for adults, I thought! Best one was the civil servant who threw secret plans in the bin for the cleaner's little girl to find and do her art on.

Last picture had them all at the zoo and said bureaucrat was in the background, shovelling elephant doings. Great stuff!

I'll get my coat....

Robert Jonson (who I think is reliable) reckons RAVEC will cave

Well if they do then perhaps they could call his bluff, tell him he is so in danger that he and the family have to each be given a new identity and hidden away somewhere for the rest of rheir days.

😂 if only ! However, Jobson was on Jeremy K. JK reckons they'll be back in US after Xmas.

You mean so they can keep an eye on Harry?

No I meant if the intelligence sources feel that the threat level justifies armed security.

CoffeeCantata · 01/09/2026 12:32

SqueakyDinosaur · 01/09/2026 12:04

As it's the countryside, maybe they could ve tractor chases? Jeremy Clarkson in full cry from the cab of his JCB, trundling along at 23mph?

Actually, that's a bit ironic. They're moving - if we're to believe the reports - to the precise area where JC has his Diddly Squat Farm. I'm sure that if he hadn't written that scurrilous piece about Meghan (suggesting she should be paraded naked through the streets and excrement thrown at her) I'm sure she would have been a regular visitor there.

Hope they don't bump into each other! As an alternative, there's always Daylesford Organic - she'd love that.

Thank you for new thread, I have skipped 10+ pages of last thread as been busy.
You can all speak for yourselves I am fucking demure, I am a bloody lady and I will be treated as one.
I have to a degree zoned out of the ham bullshit as it has become boring, predictable and frankly annoying.
A new little feral cat has turned up at the farm with 2 tiny kittens and I am on kitten milk duty to help mum regain her strength. Better for my soul than 2 dysfunctional wankers heaping their misery on to others.
I am stock piling popcorn for sentabale court case.

If he gets his way with Ravec, there is no getting rid of him. I think (I could be wrong) They can never take it from him. That will be a HIHO role. Constant upstaging, a rival royal court. An absolute nightmare for the RF

Of course RAVEC could take security from him. Redacted documents from Harry's failed Judicial Review showed that he was 'Tier 2' in their categorisation. That is, someone who is assigned security only on the basis of threat assessments. If those assessments indicate he requires security, he will get it. If they don't, he won't. Only the King, Queen, Prince and Princess of Wales and family are guaranteed security on the basis of their role.

RAVEC haven't bowed to his outrageous demands before, so I'm confident they will not do so now.

Except that their quasi-royal activities will still have to be funded by them and their supporters. And UK charity law, though by no means perfect, is less opaque around finances than the US version.

jeffgoldblum · 01/09/2026 12:39

In case I’ve missed it ! , have we heard anymore about Charlotte Griffiths and the little white pill? , I find it hard to believe a story about a U.K. prince allegedly trying to drug a woman would receive so little attention.

This is absolutely baffling tbh and interesting no clap back from HAM or indeed Meg. Considering she's such an advocate for women

Ooh, I'd love to read/hear a follow-up on that, Jeff. It's basically on a level with date rape drugging, or whatever.

Honestly, people who think Harry (and M) get a hard time - I think Harry gets away with what are basically criminal activities.

But he's such a fun, crazy chap!

On Reddit they have figured out George Soros and Ian Wace are connected. So much clearer now.

George Soros provided $25 million in seed capital to help Ian Wace and Paul Marshall launch the London-based hedge fund Marshall Wace in 1997”
