I'm a years-long MN poster, you can check with MNHQ, I have dyslexia and thinking I'm a troll doesn't make me right. You said there were more famous families there than Harry, and that isn't something you can back up. Suggesting someone is a troll or a derailer is deflecting.

I'm always intrigued by the use of cashmere as a perfume note. Cashmere as a fabric smells of whatever it's been washed or stored in. Before that, in its raw form, it smells of goats.

I assure you if I ask 3 people in outside of UK about either of them it will either be “who?” Or “Oh, King Charles son?” Or maybe they’ll mention Diana.

That's interesting. It's probably why they are so desperate for publicity, to remain in the public eye, to promote their children.

Of course they can't back it up. 'Famous' families for lack of a better term, will do their utmost for their dc to fly under the radar.

While we know which school Prince George and his siblings attend, it's not really a topic people discuss online because their parents WANT them to fly under the radar, that's the whole idea and a key aspect of security and privacy.

HaM are terrified to not be famous and being talk about. They're happy to use their dc to generate publicity whereas other families don't stoop to that.

I understand the points being made about other parents being high status, wealthier etc but @LemonDash is right H&M have generated two media storms in two months and let’s face it which other parents have a series of 32 Mumsnet threads discussing their PR.

Their PR is in your face and as a result human nature means a significant proportion of parents at the school will note A&L and their parents arriving at school. They may not all rush to get an autograph, and will stay aloof etc. but I bet they go home and make a comment. What they won’t do is rush to tell the papers.

HAM's huge fear is not being in the media. If they are not papped at the school, they will be devastated

Yes this is true. Originally I asked for names of people who are more well known than Harry, and that's what I meant.

I agree I think M is more scared of not being recognised, papped etc than not having security.

Insignificance is a far worse fate.

Yes, that's the point. Their children won't get privacy - not because they're super famous, but because H&M want the headlines, the clicks and the pictures, of themselves and their children.

But why were you discussing the word “famous”. Why focus on that word? It isn’t really relevant to the way that the Sussexes children will be perceived at their school. Do you expect them to be treated differently because they are famous, in a school setting where they may well be other children of “famous” parents, even if less famous in your opinion? If not, why does it matter that they are more famous? 🤷‍♀️

I have no idea what school their children go to. I've no idea if they go to Disneyland or help out in the kitchen or the garden or where they went on holiday or any such detail.
It is totally achievable. H&M do not want to achieve it.

This is absolutely bloody ridiculous. None of this is what the Royal Family SHOULD be about - service and charity and representing our country, acting as soft diplomacy behind Government policy.
What the actual fuck are we doing, giving any column space to this infuriatingly self-absorbed couple in their bid for world domination of the gossip columns?
I mean, can you imagine for one moment, Princess Anne threatening legal action to media outlets or primping and preening at a red carpet event? She arrives in the back seat of a car, gets out briskly and assertively, smiles as she firmly shakes the hand of the welcoming dignitary and then she gets straight inside to carry out the engagement, having thoroughly researched the organisation prior to the event so she can ask relevant and appropriate questions.
THAT'S how it should be done.
