Have Harry and Meghan announced their children’s school choice yet?

Has HAMs school choice been announced yet? Moneys not on Lambrook!
Would parents of said school need to be informed? Or because they are no longer working royals would they not need to announce?
Will they go state or private? Can they afford the top private schools now? I gather the state won't pay for their kids education?

They had trouble keeping the convoy in line and not split up apparently.

Convoy? For a school run?

I haven't had the chance to read any news today. What is all of this crap?

Apparently according to their own spokesperson! 🤷‍♀️…….no further comment!

Basic due diligence would have revealed that Dragon was unsuitable. They really are dumb af. Imagine uprooting vulnerable children who’ve already switched homes, continents and schools again after 2 days. So ridiculous and unnecessary. Bad planning & bad parenting.

Laughable

To be honest I can’t think of anywhere safer than an Oxford prep school gridlock. Kidnappers would hardly be making a fast getaway in the middle of all that.

Maybe their ‘security team’ need to think again …

Er, if they wanted to get away.

You only have to read this thread to see why they’re worried.

If you were worried about the security of your children would you continually announce their movements and details about “operational security”?

Exactly, they make no sense. Nobody would know they were here if it wasn’t for announcing everything. I was listening to a security expert this morning who said it was security 101 to keep yourselves as under the radar as possible.

They haven’t announced the details. And yet people are on this thread speculating and attempting to work out where they are.

They posted a video with easily identified landscape features.

The story of the change of school comes from them too. News sites such as the BBC wouldn't be reporting it as fact otherwise . They'd say 'reportedly' or wtte.

If they don't want people to know this stuff, just keep quiet about it.

Oh there's a thought, gifts with strings, well known on MN no such thing as a free lunch.

Grandpa 👴 I'll pay the school fees but only if they are in the UK receiving a proper English education?

What do we think?

Now there’s a thought that would explain a few things. (u-turns, etc)

Endless unnecessary details. In fact they felt it more important to announce their move to the world than to let the children’s California school know they were leaving.

Because in their brains, security is compromised by telling your children’s private school not to expect them, yet is enhanced by telling the world your children are leaving a school they attended for two days and loving to a new one.

TheOvertGardener · 15/09/2026 20:09

In fact there are more photos and references being circulating about these children by their parents than I ever posted on my own private social media about my pets.

You’re here, Darling, surrounded by windows. Don’t throw stones.

CathyorClaire · 15/09/2026 20:57

I'm donning a tinfoil hat yet again to say I don't think the dc were registered/have attended anywhere in the UK.

I don't think there's a new school as yet either.

It's beyond belief to think any school completes the admission process in a matter of hours.

Yeah, I enjoy a bit of celebrity gossip. But working yourself up about what they didn’t tell a California school (how do you even know that?) is just weird.

The Daily Mail are obsessed with them. I imagine we’d know their every move if it could be caught on camera.

Yes the Daily Mail print stories about them. The same DM which has said they were pretty sure they knew which school A&L were at but would not reveal it (and they did not. ) The same DM which has said they will not publish where H&M are staying and they haven't. The same DM which H ( not alone , with others ) took to court for illegal fact gathering for stories and the claimants had every claim dismissed whilst the judge saying the DM reporters were credible.

Now , don't get me wrong - the DM are not above silly stories for headlines and clicks - do we ever want to see a photo of VB in her bikini on a yacht ever again after this summer. But let's differentiate between a mass market newspaper who will write stories for popularity and yet will adhere to the IPSO code. The DM would not publish their every move where they have signed up not to. I'm not defending everything the DM publishes , absolutely not , some of it is clearly click fodder ( or whatever the term is ) , and some of it needs to be read with an eye to the paper's bias , but a read of the judgment on PH & other claimants v ANL might indicate the DM is not the National Inquirer or the late not lamented NOTW. This will be unpopular with some but just perhaps if H&M didn't publicise so much about themselves , MSM might not be able to replicate their instagrams and "spokespeople's " comments and public utterances.

AlwaysRightISwear · 15/09/2026 21:37

It's possible they had entered the Hamlets for several potential schools.

It’s weird you think you know the emotions of others, but you seem to be convinced.

Also strange you think you know everything there is to know about these two.

Harry contacted the daily mail and leaked an important meeting to them.

Now before you say it was just once, and that doesn’t mean he does it all the time, let me ask, how many times would you need to catch your spouse shagging your neighbor before thinking they shags the neighbor?

Anyway, this was named sources from Montecito spilling beans. Not a DailyMail article, Both old people, happy to have their photos taken and use their real names. Not “sources close to” but actual people.
