GBNews are reporting that Harry and Megan are moving back to the UK at the end of August.

I won't believe it until I hear it on the BBC.

They are significant people though ? They've had a HUGE platform.

Harry's birthright son of the head of state who
Has had numerous battles in court against RAVEC, the home office who his father is head of when heost called it "an establishment stitch up" He and other wealthy individuals lost on 93/96? Allegations as claimants against ANL in an attempt to muzzle the press. Made derogatory comments about the judge - all the courts operating under his father's name.
His wife declared racist comments were made about the potential colour of the babys skin, by a senior role left this serious allegation hanging for two years then they said it was the king and the POW (who didn't like sharing her lipgloss) oh but must of been unconscious bias. Racism by a few toxic individuals left them naming the UK as racist country.

Now they are returning.
Recently heard there was more PR consultancy for Meghan to be made acceptable to the British public, suggestions were along the line of engaging in a few low key activities (probably much like camilla)

I've said bad things about a few prime ministers and my employers.

That doesn't make me a significant person.

People absolute have the right to express an opinion about the pair of them. After all they weren’t backwards in coming forwards in expressing their own opinions/lies to the world.

That's fair enough.

Leo800 · 20/08/2026 21:55

Their American adventure was a massive fail. We have family in the US who say they’re hated & constantly humiliated in the media over there. I think they’re in for a rough ride here too.

They’re not permanently left.

It wouldn't take long to pass that law.

If Labour are still in power they have plenty of anti royalists who would happily string it out, then the lords could push it back.

Why would they have left at all, taking young children out of school, if everything was going great in California?

JesseDavisGonnaHangOnInThereNSoul · 20/08/2026 22:10

Things got a bit sticky out in the real world.

I don’t think it was & M’s plan is apparently, flexibility. Doors not closed on USA, yet…

Boarding in UK, IMO, long term plan. Poss even at Prep age.

It would be a constitutional issue, not something to play stupid games with.

And as I said before, I'm sure there are contingency plans covering all eventualities which have been discussed and would be ready to put into action.

"Long term plan"? That would be a first for these two.

And I'm not sure they'll be able to afford to maintain the Montecito house if they're not living there. Let's see.

Yes, jam making takes so much time. 🤣

Who needs the patriarchy when we have women like you, putting other women down because the Daily Mail told you to.

I agree long term planning not really demonstrated as a strength, but I think M can also be laser focused & will be very ambitious re: kids. Time will tell, as you say.

So 'laser focussed' that all of her projects have failed and she's now facing a humiliating return to 'Salty Isle'?

True - we’ll see.

I don't really understand how two weeks ago Meghan and the children had to be snuck in because of the huge safety concerns and lack of security, but now they can live here and go to school here quite safely?
I don't have a strong opinion on them, it just doesn't make sense, where did the threat go?

💯

I thought they intended to stay here till the children have finished education, that means at least 15 years. That's quite a long time. Given Meghan only managed under 2 years previously I simply can't see them/her staying until the children are adults, especially as William will likely become king in that time.

Agree. I think there’s more to come & in her position I’d spend time in Portugal.

But what on earth will she do in Portugal, living by herself in a borrowed house on a golf development, family all in the UK?

Well said! Did they ever think about the impact they had on any of the RF? They made the Queen's last years a misery.

Is she on friendly terms with E & J? Who knows, plan next venture, spa, read. H will come too I imagine.

They own the house.

The key phrase was “that MM would be spending her time in their international residences in order to manage her businesses”

This is a soft launch separation.

Maybe PH hasn’t clocked it yet.

She will swerve the upcoming character assignation which is the Sentebale trial - stepping out of that shit storm.

She will not set foot in UK in public - but will burnish her DCs in a royal glow and Britishness to merch off herself. No one is buying their royalty in US so shes packing the 3 of them off the the UK.

She will live in Cali and pop to Portugal for half terms to save the DCs long haul jet lag.

Watch PH push for his DCs to be at PC Christmas Carol Concert and the Sandringham Christmas walk. MM won’t be there she will be ‘absent’ like Doria was in her life.

You might have hit the nail on the head there.

This made me lol! Whilst wondering what they plan to do in UK as non working Royals I decided Meghan should work in one of the gift shops.

Doesn’t she have a business to run?

On a separate note, will this move mean that they’ll be relocating their “office” and PR team to the UK?
