GBNews reporting Harry and Megan moving back to the UK

GBNews are reporting that Harry and Megan are moving back to the UK at the end of August.

I won't believe it until I hear it on the BBC.

They would have had to apply ages and ages ago to secure a place in the top private schools! So yes this was obviously all done without talking to the RF about it. I’ll bet poor old Chuck is blindsided.

Can’t really see Meghan finding a suitable abode that meets her satisfaction. She famously slagged off the house they were given and wanted a bit of the luxury Will and Kate had. Can’t really imagine them in a two bed mansion block round the back of Holland Park.

The kids will attend different schools presumably.

Whats going on, I thought it wasn’t safe here for you Harry? I thought we were all so horrid and racist? And Meg couldn’t possibly thrive in such an awful country?

Do American school children still have a daily pledge of alliance to the flag…? Slightly weird thing for a prince and princess of another country to be doing…

Bollocks, the school will have fallen over itself to get such high profile parents. They wouldnhave accepted them as quickly as possible and happily increase class sizes by 1

This. There’s the official time he was told, and the actual time, which I suspect was when they visited last month or shortly thereafter. Charles doesn’t have much time left and they want to
be close.

It’s got to be to do with Charles’ health. Or maybe Harry has mellowed a bit and decided it’s time to mend some bridges before it’s too late.

They don’t have to pledge allegiance.

They wouldn’t, really. They get high profile applications all the time, they go through the correct channels. And it’s money and connection that talks, not celebrity. If they fall over themselves to get a ‘famous’ name in then they’re not thought of as particularly high calibre at all.

I’m really surprised to hear they’re moving back to the UK! That must have been why they met with Charles. There are so many questions now! Would they have had to ask his permission to move? I wonder will they sell the mansion in Hollywood? Can anybody really believe they’ll settle in the UK for good? How does William and Kate feel about this? I think Harry has put his foot down and wanted to move. He wants his children to know their extended family and to grow up with their cousins.

How do any posters know how long Charles has got??!

The schools will absolutely push these kids fast track and ignore any requirements like exams etc.

They want these literally world famous pupils.

They dont know but it doesnt take a genius to work out that a man in his late 70s having been treated for cancer is unlikely to have a lot of years left

The house opposite mine has just sold, I understand that the new people have a young family. I’ll let you know if it turns out to be Harry and Meghan…

I doubt they’ll stay very long. It’ll be a little awkward hanging out with the royal family after Harry’s revelations, Meghan curtsying or not to the king - every little move they make will be scrutinised.
