Same here really. I thought the engagement interview was a bit OTT, but just put that down to "SoCal American actress" (the claiming she never googled him did make me laugh out loud - really stupid thing to say). I did wonder if it was to head off the gold digger accusations, it was a dumb thing to say, should've said she googled him, because she obviously knew the name but being American didn't know that much. Much more believable.
I did wonder how she would cope and thought she'd likely struggle.
I thought it completely weird she only had her Mother at the wedding and how her father was treated, he was stupid working with a photographer but it seemed fairly harmless. Harry never meeting him at all before the wedding was a massive red flag - who does that??? And clearly all manipulated into having Charles walk her down the aisle.
The writing on bananas made me laugh, but again - "SoCal American actress".
The stupid palaver about the birth of Archie was just that. Idiotic
The interviews in South Africa I felt were inappropriate, but again - American oversharing, with quite a sprinkle of petty. I do remember trying to still defend them a bit and put their side across when we were talking about it at work. (I was the only one).
When they left I thought it was the best thing because she clearly wasn't happy or coping with the role. And frankly neither was he.
From that, and the SA interviews I think I knew then - they wouldn't do the quiet life. Was just waiting for the tell alls. They certainly didn't disappoint with those, or the ongoing multishambles.
