Isn't that what Harry so rudely said to John Travolta?

Yes he did probably why Holywood shut there doors to them he is a scientologist isn't he?

HoldMyWine · 27/07/2026 20:31

He told Travolta that he had ‘dined out on my mum for years’. It wasn’t funny and was a big insult to a talented ( and well respected) man.

Dontevenlookatme · 27/07/2026 20:47

Well Travolta had the last laugh, look who’s dining out on his mum now!

AliasGracie · 27/07/2026 20:48

Such an unpleasant person

Was Masterchef trolling Meghan by showing her standing in a damp, dank empty car park waiting to make her "grand entrance"? It sort of reminded me of her speech at the UN in Switzerland.

I have no idea but if you search for the joint photo of the Harry and Meghan FaceTime photo some of them are advertising The Traitors under Harry’s face. Really unfortunate timing.

TemuSussex · 27/07/2026 19:37

Ha ha I remember those!

“American Express?”
”yes certainly sir and would you like to rub my tits?”

Pamela Stephenson IIRC

Indeed.
"Put your head in between them and go 'Blubble bubble blubble' with American Express"

Haha intentional? I hope so.

I think she fluffed her lines - she probably meant "meaningful" in place of one of those sentimentals - another word she uses a lot

She may have been going for « nostalgic », too?

She got guttural and visceral mixed up too in a ?Vogue interview.

jeffgoldblum · 27/07/2026 23:27

May be untrue…..! But apparently the banana bread was on purpose!!! 🤣🤣

Scrambledbeans · 27/07/2026 23:31

Masterchef might be weird- but please don’t forget the heady days of 2021, freshly fled to freedom, and the erstwhile Duchess pretended to be a baby, drink a bottle milk and pretended to be a cat on American daytime television.

Meghan Markle drinks from baby bottle, eats like chipmunk in 'Ellen' prank

The Duchess of Sussex ate food like a chipmunk, drank from a baby bottle and pretended to be a cat as part of the elaborate joke.

Apropos of not very much, I saw an article about the forthcoming retirement in May of Harry’s ‘Wasp’ Sir Clive Alderton who is Charles’s Principal Private Secretary.

H also had nicknames for Sir Edward Young (Bee) and Simon Case (Fly).

It reminded me that there was also a nickname for Mark Bolland, the PR man supposedly assigned to ‘rehabilitate’ Camilla and Charles, and that his nickname was ‘Lipgloss’.

King's aide and Harry's 'Wasp' to step down after 20 years

He's the man who delivered a King - and, for that matter, a Queen - masterminded the banishment of one particularly problematic relative, while cunningly corralling another.

People Mag have an article on their Portugal trip, sounds like their life in California is absolutely shite, seems Portugal is where their kids can be kids and they can be a family.

It appears to be confirming the rumours they are not all that happy in Montecito, living their best life in California doesn’t’ appear to be the reality after all, who would ever have guessed!

Is this the run-in introduction to them quitting California.?

'Lipgloss', hmm, rings a bell...

Maybe none of the neighbours or parents at school like them? Plus it's highly likely they can't afford to run it anymore. Also Harry's visa...

JSMill · 28/07/2026 08:11

Even if they wanted to quit Montecito, that mansion isn’t going to be snapped up any time soon. They were extremely foolish to buy it.

MyGreyLurker · 28/07/2026 08:41

I wonder what the implications of the retirement of Sir Clive Alderton will be. If Tom Sykes is to be believed (?), Alderton was detested by Harry and has been instrumental in keeping him (Harry) out. If it's true that Charles wants Harry back in, then Alderton leaving might clear a major obstacle in the Charles/Sussexes way.

Harry would still have to get past William .

Maybe some lovestruck couple will come along and see the intertwined palm trees and gasp, "Look, my love, it's you and me 4Ever2gether!" 😉

There's zero evidence KC3 wants Harry back in. I'd say the opposite. Being dragged kicking and screaming to meet them for tea, for example.

Why do people act as though KC3 is an idiot?

Exactly. It’s almost as if those repeating the “Charles wants Harry back” mantra have an agenda.

FallenNight · 28/07/2026 10:03

Because despite all the comments about KC being an absent father, distant, not particularly fatherly etc. There is also a common belief that he is actually quite sensitive, emotional and in some ways soft.

The thing i remember most from spare is the description of KC sitting on his son's bed, comforting him as he falls asleep. Leaving the door ajar because of the dark. These are the actions of a caring sensitive father.

I agree people choose which side they prefer to increase the drama or prove their point - match their agenda.

In my opinion, KC is actually a sensitive man (too sensitive for his parents in many ways who tried and failed to 'toughen him up') who cares deeply about both his children but is and has been torn between them and the duty drummed into him from birth for his country. I suspect he would love to heal the breach with his son fully, have them all as a happy family, but not at the expense of hurting the family he is currently close to (William, Catherine and Camilla), and not at the expense of his duties to his country.

AtIusvue · 28/07/2026 10:04

😂

Holly willoughby has just launched her you tube channel and the top comment it ‘with love, Megan?’

The DM has also picked up how dire it is and compared it to Meg’s tv disaster.

Holly is a mega royalist…..she will be fuming she’s been compared to Meg!

That’s not true - many property industry reports suggest that it’s at least doubled in value from $14m to $29m.

It was on the market for a long time before they bought it
