If these were spontaneous pictures of Meghan larking about at a pool party then fine, but of course this is a set-up pair of pictures that have been discussed, planned, planned some more, executed, checked and double-checked and finally posted. Meghan will have chosen between four or five costumes for the pool jump, wrestled over whether to wear the sunglasses (on the pro side, with sunglasses looks more spontaneous and fun times. On the other hand, jumping into a pool wearing sunglasses — notwithstanding that we’ve all done it, forgetting we were wearing them — feels more of a Harry thing to do. We’re not buying that Meghan would forget to take them off, so it feels even less authentic).

The above sums up Meghan’s problem, Diana just jumped in the pool totally authentic, Meghan would have done the above, she is a complete fake and everyone can see it, inauthenticity oozes out of her pores hence nothing she does will ever work.

It must have taken an awful lot of practice for the camera to capture that exact coincidental pose that hitherto no one ever knew anything about, your honour.

Surely it’s not only disappointing but remiss that her love , her fox , her h , who loves her so boldly hasn’t celebrated or wished her a happy birthday!!! 😬

Also it's really not an attractive picture. The thing about Diana was she was inherently glamorous. She just shone, whatever she did. She had a very athletic body and she wore clothes, they didn't wear her, or at least not in her later years. Meghan is a rather nondescript looking woman these days. She has none of the star quality that Diana had. It's just a poor imitation of someone else. She's always copying someone else or something else. She doesn't have her own style.

That was my first thought - jumping in wearing sunglasses - they're bound to be knocked off by the water rush. I suppose at least in a pool someone can dive in and get them. There are pictures of Diana splashing in the sea wearing sunglasses but it was when the boys were young and I suppose she was just doing playful (camera friendly) splashing about keeping an eye on the children. You can't swim in them!
In Cornwall a couple of weeks ago I debated whether to wear mine for a sedate breaststroke but decided a wave might knock them off and as they are prescription multi-focal they cost a heart stopping amount and common sense kicked in, glasses safely stowed in my beach bag and DH sternly warned not to lie on the bag or use it as a pillow.

It seems she has given the kitchen a makeover with a whitewash. This was picked up by sleuths on X, from the clip she posted on instagram with the flower arrangement. Much cheaper than a whole new kitchen. 😉

Agreed, no matter your opinion on Diana it cannot be denied that she just oozed charisma, she had the “it” factor without even trying.

Diana, love her or hate her (or mostly somewhere in between) was SO much more than a pair of legs.
Charisma is a very real thing.

It really just goes to show they can’t afford to do anything to that house of note, I doubt George and Amal did a quick paint job on their 90’s kitchen, they would have had top designers manage the project to their very expensive exacting standards, all bespoke and top of the range, the cash just ain’t there for the HAMS.

Agree that the joyful spontaneity is diminished by the sense that orders are being barked in the background.

Maybe it’s been tarted up before going on the market after summer ….

I think all videos like this do is prove she isn't a Duchess.
To be royalty there needs to be an otherness about them, because that's what keeps them interesting.

Also Diana was 36 when she died, age comes to those that are lucky, but directly comparing yourself to someone a decade younger is never going to come off well.

As for swimming with sunglasses, I always wear mine in the sea (but cheap ones) but jumping with them is not possible

The birthday videos….:.shes clearly drunk:

• Meg thinking her shuffling and putting hats on dogs is hilarious,
• Harry embarrassingly laughs in both videos at her saying ‘oh dear’,
• another poster nailed it above with her dancing like Britney,
• it’s morning and the kids aren’t around,
• she’s dressed like an idiot with a paper tiara (which is likely as close as she will get to a real one)

Shes so determined to show us she’s so zany. I can just imagine drunk Meg, telling Harry that she’s going to get her swimming costume on and go jump in the pool with the balloons! Get the camera ready.

I was thinking the same about the age difference.

The video is so cringe, she’s 45 ffs. I did snort at the As Ever post wishing their founder a happy birthday, clearly written by Megz herself.
