I’m afraid @MrsLeonFarrell , I’m fully in agreement with puzzled on this one !
step away from who it’s about for a second…evaluate every single comment, slight, lie and action ( done on a global scale for the whole world to see!) and then ask yourself honestly if you could forgive and forget it ? , I couldn’t and I’m sure the majority of people would not be able to either 🤷‍♀️

Me too I think both Harry and Meghan are abusers, we aren’t talking about a little family fall out, it’s been an orchestrated campaign to destroy his family, particularly William and Catherine whilst pocketing a load of cash in the process.

Mark Dolan saying what many think, and coming in for quite the drubbing. It’s a valid point re the children but really there was no need to reply to the request for comment, and neither was there a need to take it so personally. The issue of rival courts is independent of the personalities involved, it’s a constitutional matter. But then, Meghan and Harry don’t want to not make things personal, they actively want everything to be about them.

William really will be left with no choice than to keep them exiled, using whatever tools he has at his disposal. Harry hasn’t understood that his marriage to Meghan and their actions before/after the wedding oblige the reigning monarch to keep them at arm’s length. He hasn’t understood how much of his royalty he sacrificed for that marriage. This is why a royal bride needs to be “suitable” (ie in the mould that Harry mocked in Spare). If she’s not, this is the result. And it’s not like times or old where perhaps there was a legitimate difference of opinion re faith, religion, empire building, dynastic alliances etc. This is all about appearances and ego and not very much money (in the grand scheme of monarchies).

In other news - People are having a Diana day (to celebrate the 45th wedding anniversary of the marriage that ended in divorce 30 years ago🙄) with no fewer than 7 ... yes 7 - Diana/Diana & Charles articles published just today 😳although they don't seem to be getting a lot of comments.

It seems strange to put all of them out there. It struck me whether this is some sort of HAM PR push to whip up some interest in Diana again for a possible Netflix show.

😳😳😳
Is the magazine short on news or something?
That’s totally over the top, I wouldn’t have given it one page 🤷‍♀️

Could this be an H&M PR push to try and distract from the ANL cost hearing?

That is so odd.

You might be on to something with the generating of online interest.

I’m embarrassed for them!! , do they really value ham so completely that they are happy to insult the king and queen of the U.K.? , celebrating the anniversary of her death is one thing ( which personally I find ghoulish) but the wedding anniversary of a divorced woman? , Charles and Camilla have now been married longer than his marriage to Diana lasted! , frankly it’s in embarrassing bad taste.

Indeed! What next Meghan sighted with elvis? , I’m assuming this is an example of American tabloids that apparently don’t exist! 🙄

HAM have already made life very unpleasant for PW and Catherine. That cannot be disputed. True, we cannot predict what A&L will be like but I wouldn't put money on them being well rounded adults. There are already merched out.

H was quite vocal about his fears for
the future of his nephews and niece. He didn't seem to think this was irresponsible. One rule for him, as ever

That article also got this wrong:

‘One issue with Harry’s potential return to royal life, Dolan argued, involves his desire for a security detail, which was revoked following his agreement with the late Queen.’

IMO this is a bit sloppy. Harry revoked his security arrangements by leaving the UK and leaving the Working Royal Family arrangements (ie representing the monarch / HoS) and was told this. He has actually indicated he knows this by talking of the WRF being ‘trapped’.

He just doesn’t like the rules. And I bet Charles is paying for a tonne of his expenses in the US anyway.

jeffgoldblum · 29/07/2026 18:40

Just seen this on Reddit! Apparently ham have clapped back at the Dolan article already! And this person is pointing out the hypocrisy!

Also, H has said he wants his children to have the option to be a working royal. How does he propose this when their uncle will be king and zero relationship with him ?

He is so arrogant and entitled. How dare he assume his nephew / niece will end up an entitled knob like him. If ever there was a cautionary tale, it'd H

It's the newspaper versions of tabloids which generally aren't seen, jeff; most that exist are even bigger than out "broadsheets" used to be, and don't even think of trying to read one on a windy beach!! Grin

People and its like are the sort of trash found at store checkouts, and why anyone would read them is a mystery

Puzzledandpissedoff · 29/07/2026 19:13

If it's genuinely a Sussex spokesman and not just some made up rubbish, I did like the bit about "(William) has made it very clear to me that his kids are not my responsibility"

Good on William I'd say ...

BasiliskStare · 29/07/2026 19:31

I can't see any of the People Diana Articles , but if there are 7 articles on the wedding anniversary - arrant nonsensical page filling. . Isn't People the H&M klaxon of choice? As @jeffgoldblum says , C&C have been married longer than C&D. It sort of looks like a pathetic attempt to remind people of Diana , which H trades off massively. One article , may be, but I don't think there's the interest now in D (apart from her friends and family) to sustain this sort of stuff. & way too much on such a silly pretext. A little unkind also to Charles and Camilla I think . I think amongst many there is increasingly a vague indifference to Diana stories. But then H&M have said there will be no Diana 30 yr anniversary of her death documentary. (Mind you they've said a lot of things)

Caveat I heaven't seen the magazine so am going on reports of 7 articles.

You can tell they have literally nothing to do if they spend their time watching Mark Dolan of all people. I bet that’s what the pair of them do all day just sit there watching and reading stuff about themselves and preparing clap backs, what a way to live your life.

I definitely think this is true

Beesandhoney123 · 29/07/2026 20:14

H & m kids cant be working royals. They just wouldnt be accepted. Just the same as H&M - they cant be working Royals either. They clearly have no respect for King and country, and couldnt be trusted to represent and work on behalf of us all.

Besides the fact that it would be deemed insulting to have any of them show up. Better not to have anyone at all, than the sussexes.

Wanting the dc to be working royals is pushy isnt it? Surely H will want them to have the privacy and independance he craved, making their own lives without inteference from their family. Oh, wait...

PullTheBricksDown · 29/07/2026 20:17

Read the insurance story in the Guardian. Reckon Harry has worked out what a stupid idea it was to have a pop at the judge and make it even more difficult for his dad to help him pay the bill? Does anyone who is more informed about the numbers know if Charles could even put his hands on £48 million in liquid form, that he could give to Harry, without having to ask William for the use of Duchy funds or similar? I know the royals are rich but it's what they can actually draw on.

BasiliskStare · 29/07/2026 20:23

I think MD went a wee step too far in suggesting A&L will be a thorn in G, C&L's side . But to be fair H wasn't backwards in coming forwards about his opinions on W's children. I think H&M would have been better to ignore MD's comment and risen above it. Doesn't seem to be their style though. Not sure where the , they never read anything about themselves, which I am fairly sure they've said in the past comes in. If they are living their best lives and have time to look at that well - let's just say I personally wouldn't.

Thanks for the links @jeffgoldblum and @IAmATorturedPoet
