But is Charles really going to allow Meghan to use Balmoral and the rf summer holiday as content for her dying brand and Instagram page in the same way as she did at Althorp?

In any case Harry is really racking up the air miles as he is due at the Well Child awards in London in September.

The "invitation" to Balmoral may well just be the same one the LQE gave them.

They were always welcome, but everyone knew they wouldn't come.

I'm quite sure if they did accept then most of the rest of the family would schedule their visit to avoid them.

Exactly. They have always been 'much loved family members' to quite the late Queen. The invitation is probably always open, like the invitation to stay at Buckingham Palace when they are over, it's just that it hasn't been accepted up to now.

It would actually be a good thing if they start seeing Charles and maybe some other family members privately. Being isolated from family, unless they are abusive, isn't good for mental health. Harry obviously thrive in family and with structure.

None of this means a return to working royal status, it's just what has been the case from the beginning. The papers just like to stir drama as if any of this is new.

But any invitation to Balmoral (which I don't believe in BTW) would be on the current security basis and they wouldn't like that. Their recent visit to Highgrove and Althorp has shown that's sufficient though. And there would be full security on site at Balmoral as the King is there. Checkmate, HAM!

I'm just wondering if they would expect their American security with guns to be accommodated on site. I am assuming so. I shouldn't think that would make Charles feel very comfortable.

I don’t think it’s legal for anyone but the special armed police to carry guns in this country…I believe this is yet another source of complaints from waaggghhh!

The little Waleses evidently get a lot of "just being kids" when they're not in the public eye. And far more genuine privacy when e.g. they're up in Norfolk. I do think that Kate in particular is doing a cracking job at raising them - yes, hugely privileged, blah blah blah - but clearly being taught when it's OK to goof around and when it's not.

Foreign security with guns is not permitted in the UK or at any British Embassies/High Commissions around the world. Regardless of if it's the King's house.

I honestly think a holiday trip would be very stressful for everyone. How could anyone relax when they know that anything they say will pop up in a People article from their PR or activities photographed for her Instagram page?

H has isolated himself. He appeared in his element on his "freedom flight " as he assumed he would be a "global icon" and didn't need his family.

He had zero regard for the mental wellbeing of his father, stepmother, brother and sister in law when he threw them all under the bus.

That's very valid, @MrsLeonFarrell, except for one thing ... how much more "abusive" do you want?

H&Ms' countless abuses of family members have all been discussed at length before, and since so many have actually been against individuals (rather than the institution) I'm not sure why they'd want to invite more the instant something didn't suit?

I can just about see that years of behaving much better might do it, even though I doubt either are capable, but for me a throwaway remark about "regretting some stuff" would have no more value than anything else they say - especially if it really was born of a simple need for money

step away from who it’s about for a second…evaluate every single comment, slight, lie and action ( done on a global scale for the whole world to see!) and then ask yourself honestly if you could forgive and forget it ? , I couldn’t and I’m sure the majority of people would not be able to either 🤷‍♀️
