None of us know. It doesn’t seem unreasonable to want security for his children.

His children will have security if he brings them, in the Royal palaces. He said they wouldn't be seen in public so there's no problem, other than H's skill in digging huge holes by forgetting what he's said then making himself look stupid by falling into them.

Back to the original question. I think he'll come by himself. I think that was the plan all along.

He has leaked his team's security report to ITV, it details both what sort of security he has and the fact that his team don't know where the individuals the think threaten him are. Harry is good family's biggest security threat at this point.

I have no idea how many Sussexes will visit after this, I just hope they don't successfully blackmail RAVEC and hence the taxpayer into paying for their security when they increase the threats themselves.

If he was really worried about his security he’d just shut up about it and stop leaking details. That’s what most sensible people would do.

It’s all very strange indeed and doesn’t make sense to most people. My husband comes from an unsafe country, he still has a grandmother, aunts, uncles and cousins there, but he would never bring us there while there is any risk, yet Harry is claiming he is personally a terrorist target and yet is prepared to put his wife and kids in harms way, and by all accounts his privately sourced security report is saying not only is Harry and his family a target, the general public and Invictus attendees are also a target in his presence.

I find it very hard to believe.

Is he trying to force Invictus to cancel their events so he has an excuse to back out? Public opinion is going very much against him and Invictus.

If Harry and family want to come visit family, get on the plane and do it. It doesnt have to be high drama/attention.

But he appears to be wanting to be doing visits to charities and organisations as a Royal. If he wants to go and see Invinctus - he can, just go low key with no media if he doesn't want to pay for security.

He left the country and tbh its not any difference to the majority of us.

Their stance hasn't ever changed he will bring the family if he has secuirty. He has never taken up offers to stay at Royal accomodation so all the recent articles are just bs made up to generate revenue for the papers.

I would agree with you were it not for the fact that he is an absolute fool for leaking details of his planned visit. Why would you do that if the threats against you are that substantial? Either they aren't, and he's therefore over-egging it. Or they are, and he's providing information about his schedule and trying to use it as leverage to get taxpayer funded security.

In truth, I think he is carrying deep wounds from his childhood and doesn't behave or think rationally about security.

RAVEC have access to sophisticated global intelligence systems and sources which they deploy to design a bespoke package proportionate to the current security environment each and every time he visits.

He has taken up the above process on the numerous times he has visited to date, either solo, with MM and with his DCs.

This process hasn’t stopped him visiting before - so why is it different this time?

IMHO it’s about the optics - he wants blue lights, cavalcade, outriders screeching around town so the press and his NF crew can see that The Sussex’s are on the move. He probs has helicopter to film - so everyone can see them go in to visit KC3 even though they are not allowed to talk about it.
