Nobody seems to know for sure. Why should we care. Maybe he doesn't even know himself yet. He can't seem to do anything without attracting lots of press articles.

I would assume more than 4 because they wouldn’t be working 24/7. I wonder if they work 8 or 12 hours shitfs, even if it was 12 hours shifts they wouldn’t work 7 days a week and then they would cover for illness and holidays. That would be a lot of people.

I meant that Harry would demand 4 details - one for each of them - which would likely mean around 30 RPOs

There were rumours that this what broke the Met during Megxit when they were in Canada because they demanded 3 teams - one for Harry in the UK for the Sandringham summit, one for Meghan who had gone to LA and a 3rd for Archie who they left behind in Canada!

So just the same rumours that have been doing the rounds. For all we know they could be in Bulgaria. Or back in Casa Montecito.

And they don't have a house in Portugal. There was talk of them buying one, but I don't think anything ever came of it.

Kinda proves the point that they dont need security they just need to not publish an itinerary

ForPinkDuck · 02/07/2026 20:55

I heard it on here Tontostitis so it must be true🙃

Thank you for clarifying that. People's ignorance on this is really astonishing!

I think it’s wilful ignorance in some cases.

Dameputtingonabraveface · 02/07/2026 21:36

Of course not. It is so very unsafe despite being subject to up to date RAVEC assessments and being offered stays in Royal residences in the past. Obviously this is very unsafe which is why the former HRH Harry has had to stay in hotels and just fly in and out, letting the media kbow this. H&M are obviously far more at risk than the actually working Royals who only get the level of security he demands when actually performing the role he decided was not for him. H is also at increased risk because it is totally necessary that he shares his intended whereabouts with the press/ public and then wanders around streets in London trying to hook up with ex-friends who moved out years before.

He's an absolute laughing stock

I don’t think Meghan and the kids were ever coming. It’s just a tool.
I think the public would be awful to M, she can’t come here ever again. She could come for a private visit but that’s it.
I don’t think Harry will get a good welcome either, I think this recent behaviour is just winding people up more.

A tool to achieve what though? Neither of them really seem to want to come to the UK or see Harry's family in reality. Why don't they just accept the status quo and stop posturing, protesting and proclaiming? I don't believe Harry is even interested in 'his' charities anymore.

Viviennemary · 02/07/2026 22:16

I read maybe Meghan wanted to go to Wimbledon to see her pal Serena win. But she was beaten. But she might be in the doubles.

get IPP status. That’s the end game.
im sure he does think Charles can organise it.

Dameputtingonabraveface · 02/07/2026 22:42

Maybe we can all stop pretending that Meghan and the children are not coming to the UK because of a huge security risk? The family will be afforded any protection needed because they they are afforded an up-to-date Ravec assessment if they plan to visit the UK. The reality is most likely she does not want to come. We are all apparently racist and made her life hell. The multi-million pound wedding wedding with streets lined with well wishers was obviously just a scam. As was all the good will felt toward her husband, 'the cheeky chappy' prince who had found happiness. I have no skin in the game, I am not a rabid royalist. Like most I respected their decision when they chose to leave the Royal Family. What most people have issue with is their behavior since they left. Both are entitled and tone deaf.

MM was quite happy with the same security policy that has been in place throughout since 2020 and took her two precious children to the evil, racist, salty island for the Jubilee and hosted her DD 1st birthday at Windsor. And later that same year was happy to return to the unsafe salty island and travel throughout the UK giving talks at big venues (One Young World) under the same security policy…..what’s the issue now?

Teajenny7 · 03/07/2026 09:02

He and his family are welcome to come.

The Btitish tax payer should not pay for his security or anything else.

Benjithedog · 03/07/2026 09:34

LipglossAndLies · 02/07/2026 10:31

So are you dismissing all the information shared abojt the threats against him? The person who was jailed for stalking, the fact that over 20 people deemed highly dangerous are now free to carry out the threats they had made?

Just curious as to what your thoughts are about that. He is a Prince of a Royal Family he will always be targeted. Those people don't care if he is a working royal or not ..he is a royal.

You missed the part that it was a report he paid for so is hardly going to be impartial. If he feels the UK is too dangerous don’t go.

3peassuit · 03/07/2026 09:40

Sadly, his childish entitled behaviour has tarnished the Invictus games and will probably be the nail in the for them. I want them to stay away and cease this pointless drama.

Benjithedog · 03/07/2026 09:52

Soapybubbles1234 · 02/07/2026 15:15

If he really cared about security and his children seeing their grandfather he could just fly in quietly, spend a low key few days at Sandringham/Balmoral/Highgrove and fly out and no one would be any the wiser. It’s almost as though he thrives on high drama…oh, wait…

They thrive on being the victim

Benjithedog · 03/07/2026 09:53

MarmaladeorJam · 02/07/2026 15:58

Sorry @IdaGlossop , but I am not aggressive, and your post did not come across as a "measured suggestion."

Indeed, following up with "proof" of need for intervention (unpredictable, angry, vascillating), and implying he is a danger to his children (responsible for small children) really proves the points that he makes, not the one you are trying to make.

We know very little about any of the principles in this situation.

The only thing we know for sure is that each family, and probably each family member, has their own PR machine. Those PRs battle it out to make their principle look great/the best.

Beyond that, we can take from the horses mouth what they think, feel and hope, and accept it or not.

I’m sorry but it doesn’t prove what Harry has said as being correct. Far from it.

Benjithedog · 03/07/2026 09:56

LipglossAndLies · 02/07/2026 18:17

Well you obviously don't have your facts right since you incorrectly said he doesn't have private security.

Why don't you go read up why he is asking for security in the UK when he visits. I believe one reason is his private security are not allowed to carry weapons in the UK. He also offered to pay for it (not asking for taxpayers to pay for it) but was told no. So stop asserting he is expecting us to pay for it when he isn't. That isn't why he is asking.

He is a Prince of a Royal Family he is a target regardless of whether he was in the military and killed taliban. If we took your logic then you would say Princess Catherine and her kids don't need security since they haven't killed any, yet they do.

Why oh why do posters keep banging on with “well he offered to pay for it” rubbish. The police are not and have never been for hire. He gets security as outlined by RAVEC who will know far
more than you and I about maters of security.

We all know you can buy the police. Doesn't mean people still can't ask. He can say I will pay for x y z doesn’t mean he will get it. Point is if he did offer to it then goes back to the poster I was reaponding to who said he is wanting taxpayers to pay. To point out to them that he isn't.

Recklessismymiddlename · 03/07/2026 10:28

Their PR team must be really concerned, if this rubbish is the best they can come up with. Time to go back to the drawing board. They have most likely pissed off journalists, they had on side, with their latest debacle and are probably floundering. No more than they deserve.

noonames · 03/07/2026 10:49

Do you have proof of that @LipglossAndLies
Because otherwise it’s a lie, no?

How, exactly, can I "buy the police"?
I don't think "we all know" this at all.

As someone who works in PR, I can assure you that they have definitely passed off the journalists they sent the operational note to. If journalists don't trust what you send them, you don't get coverage.

noonames · 03/07/2026 11:09

What’s the going rate @LipglossAndLies - a PC on the books would be quite handy for when the arsehole from no.6 parks across my dropped kerb. But rates would have to be reasonable, I’m not made of money.

vguil · 03/07/2026 11:16

would’ve done himself a huge favour by not describing the gung ho way he shot down the taliban in his ridiculous autobiography
