Prince Harry and Meghan’s huge Aussie plans revealed. Visit to Sydney and Melbourne in Mid-April.

EXCLUSIVE

More than seven years after then-newlyweds Prince Harry and Meghan embarked on their hugely successful Aussie tour, the couple is reportedly heading back Down Under.

A source confirmed exclusively to news.com.au that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are planning to visit Sydney and Melbourne in mid-April.

While their last trip to our shores was in an official capacity as working members of the royal family, this time around they’re travelling as private citizens – and it’s understood they’ll be focusing on activities related to their businesses and philanthropic work.

Details of their specific plans remain unclear, but it’s been rumoured that Meghan will appear as a guest on the Her Best Life podcast, which was initially launched and co-hosted by Jackie “O” Henderson and Gemma O’Neill through their “Besties” company. Earlier this year, just a couple of weeks before her high-profile and abrupt recent exit from her KIIS breakfast show, Henderson revealed that she had decided to “step away” from the venture.

It’s rumoured that Meghan will also appear as a special guest at an upcoming “Besties” event, following in the footsteps of previous VIP speaker Gwyneth Paltrow.

The actress took part in a wide-ranging Q&A with Henderson back in 2023 which attracted around 3,000 ticketholders to the ICC in Sydney’s Darling Harbour – so Meghan’s appearance could be in a similar capacity.
Despite Henderson’s recent departure from the Besties company, she hinted last month that she may return in some capacity in the future - and perhaps Meghan’s involvement could be one such occasion.

Gwyneth Paltrow was the special guest at a Besties event, run by Henderson (left) and Gemma O'Neill, back in 2023 – and Meghan is now rumoured to follow in her footsteps. Picture: Supplied
While details of the couple’s itinerary are expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks, it’s likely that Harry’s plans will involve Australia’s armed forces or veterans’ community, given his strong connections to both.

It’s understood he also has a number of friends locally, fostered across multiple previous visits, including during his month-long stay with the ADF at an army barracks in Darwin back in 2015.
And in his 2023 memoir, Harry gushed over his time living in Australia as a 19-year-old in 2003.
He wrote in Spare that working as a jackaroo on a farm in rural Queensland had helped him find inner peace during what were “some of the best” weeks of his life.

It’s not yet known whether the Sussexes’ children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, will join them on the trip next month or stay back at the family’s home in Montecito, California.

News.com.au understands that the royal couple’s Aussie visit has been in the works for almost a year.

I'm not going to repost because I think they should be taken down.

Some of those photos in the Daily Mail show some very uncomfortable looking teens. Their faces, illness, feeding tubes are now media fodder.

What about their privacy, did they really understand what they were agreeing to?

They probably had no idea who they were and certainly didn't think that by having some adults attend a therapy session their photos would be broadcast worldwide.

Why do these children's privacy, in a country which has banned social media for U16, not matter.
Why should their illness be monitised?

Sorry but….. disgusting, cosplaying faux royal ghouls, using children with cancer for pr! , the doctors who allowed unmasked people straight from a transatlantic flight to breathe all over and grab at immune compromised children should be struck off!

You are spot on with this. It's so bizarre.

IAmATorturedPoet · 14/04/2026 09:47

Spot on @RecoIIectionsMayVary and @jeffgoldblum

Using sick children for self-promotion is disgraceful (as well as another example of their own hypocrisy)

Whose idea was this visit and who decided it should be organised in this way?

Not2identifying · 14/04/2026 09:48

The RF cannot forbid H & M from cosplaying as royals. Anyone of us could do it. The difference is, if we tried it, everyone around us would ignore us and/or think we were very weird. H & M have found organisations willing to indulge them in the pretence.

I think it's more likely that the organisations that do that will not receive visits from official royals in the future. That's really as much as the RF can do, particularly abroad. They'll have more soft power to influence things at home which might be part of the reason we've seen less cosplaying in the UK apart from with charities already established (e.g. Invictus and Scotty's Little Soldiers).

I’m actually really angry @corblimeyguvnr! Although I suspected that they would continue to use others for pr , I’m surprised to find myself absolutely disgusted that they were allowed to do this and no adults stepped up to safeguard those children! 😡 , I’m so irritated that I’m going to ignore and not look at any more pictures or articles about this tour!

Totally agree, it's not right to share those photos of the children.
Why do celebrity chidren get pixilated faces but anyone else is ok for media to post a childs image.

BoudiccaRuled · 14/04/2026 09:58

Why is Harry so deliriously happy to be around ill children, that he is in no way assisting (as far as we are aware) in any other way? Does he pounce on his own children when they are ill?
I've worked with vulnerable children and would act very happy around them, but then I was teaching them and actuvely helping them. I had a reason to be there.

Absolutely agree with this. It’s shocking .

RecoIIectionsMayVary · 14/04/2026 09:59

It actually gets worse.

The little girl in the pink with the card is wearing a mask in the earlier pictures, which is then removed for the photo opportunity with Meghan.

This isn't to support a charity, it is for completely selfish reasons. It is the hospital/doctors that are as much to blame.

HeddaGabbles · 14/04/2026 10:00

corblimeyguvnr · 14/04/2026 09:23

You are right. This photo makes me feel very uncomfortable.

That actually looks abusive . Why on earth is this being allowed?!!

corblimeyguvnr · 14/04/2026 10:02

I don't think this hospital has thought this through properly 😬 and are going to be shocked at the public perception of this.

HeddaGabbles · 14/04/2026 10:03

Why on earth are the parents going along with allowing their children to be used as props for M and H’s ego?

StartupRepair · 14/04/2026 10:03

Taxpayer not happy here.

OctopusFriend · 14/04/2026 10:06

It's absolutely unbelievable. It's one thing to insist on being Royal, living the lifestyle, monetising it and doing the quasi royal tours. However, it's quite another to exploit vulnerable people for your own publicity pictures.
I agree with @jeffgoldblum and @HeddaGabbles
A new low for the Sussexes.

Yes, they've been misguided, at best.
The Australian taxpayers need a refund.

I’ve always been understanding that Charles doesn’t want to publicly address his son and dil behaviour and obviously with his health issues and brother to deal with but this isn’t going to stop unless he publicly denounces this behaviour! , obviously other countries will continue to allow them to behave this way until it’s made crystal clear that they represent nobody but themselves and their wallets!

Some of my lot are flight deck crew and others have been cabin crew. The point you made about the children being exposed to germs from people just off a flight is valid. I think the first year any of my lot started flying they were sick almost the whole time and some of the viruses they’ve passed onto other members of the family have been horrendous.

The last three flights I have done have made me ill.

Because he cos plays his mother as much as his wife does. This is his way of reminding everyone WHO HE IS. The difference is that it was genuine and heartfelt with Diana, not a play for show.

IAmATorturedPoet · 14/04/2026 10:16

She also really needs to stop laying hands on everyone she comes into contact with and drop the death grip they have on each other. People in their mid forties do not need to be doing all this touchy feely stuff all the time. It's really bizarre.

corblimeyguvnr · 14/04/2026 10:18

He's such a twt. Does this make him and her feel good? The looks on faces in the crowds are an interesting mix.

It really is entitlement and arrogance, the Sussexes are so desperate to be seen as Royals and have those roles, they are prepared to exploit vulnerable people.
KC is in a tricky position. If he is critical then he can be accused of overstepping his remit.
I think the FCO should make an official statement that H&M have no connection to official royalty, and do not act on behalf of HIM Govt, only themselves.
Plus their social media and their wallets.

Indianrollerbird · 14/04/2026 10:19

I think there is no way this would be happening - including the tarmac greeting usually reserved for visiting dignitaries, not private citizens on a personal money making venture - without back-channel approval from the government/Charles. Coupled with a lot of negativity of late towards William from Charles friendly press outlets, I see this as a coordinated attempt to rehabilitate this pair of frauds into working royalty/the half in-half out they always wanted.
