Beatrice and Eugenie banned from Ascot

Beatrice and Eugenie have been banned from the royal box at Ascot and from royal events in the foreseeable future. That's according to a headline in the Daily Mail. A little part of me feels a bit sorry for them as they're not their parents. I don't like them much but they do seem to symbolise all that's wrong with the royals. Money and immense wealth and priviledge for very little return.

Many people say in their defence, that they should not be punished for the crimes of their parents. But actually the decent and right thing to do, from their positions of immense privilege, would have been to stand up and say, we love our parents, but we dont agree with the things they have been assocaited with and we will not live our lives the same way. Instead of which theres been a deafening silence. They had a perfect oportunity to distance themselves and save their position within the family, plus all the resources in the world for good professional advice AND the kings stated goodwill, and they did nothing. Well we only have Harry’s word for it that it happened at all, but we do have proof that Harry physically assaulted his security guard and physically assaulted Taylor Hawkins, unprovoked attacks, and yes the dog bowl incident created many memorable funny memes and comedy skits, the one on SNL I think it was was hilarious.

I do agree with that and it's odd they haven't gone down that route

Its so becoming more shameful they havent retracted the statement calling VG a liar. Shameful neither Sophie nor Camilla have spoken out about it either given their work with charities of victim of abuse.

Not one person in that family has said it was wrong of them to discredit VG in such a public way given their immense power...abusing their power infact to discredit someone who then turns out wasn't even lying.

How many other times have they done this? Even to their own family members....

Bea and Eug are beginning to look like Cinderella’s ugly stepsisters. If they had any sense they would step out of the spotlight for the next 10 years and quietly focus on their families and jobs. The bad press from their own mentions in the Epstein files is not just going to go away.

There is definitely a noticeable concerted push to paint William as having violent rages on here recently, it reminds me of the awful where is Kate threads where posters were claiming William had beaten Catherine up and that’s why she had gone missing, (even though she hadn’t gone missing at all, we all knew she was in hospital) seems we are heading in that direction again.

Personally with the York women, I’d have proactively said, I’ll be known as Mrs /Ms husband name or Windsor. Not York or Mountbatten Windsor as aligns too much with their reprobate of a father.

So being angry and not calm is a normal human emotion...? So William being angry is okay?

Of course it’s ok to feel anger, agitation, upset, irritation, any human emotion is ok, honestly this is getting beyond ridiculous now having to justify a human being having feelings.

Yes, anger is a completely normal, healthy, and natural human emotion. It is a fundamental part of the human experience and, from an evolutionary perspective, serves as a mechanism to protect against threats, compete for resources, and enforce social norms

Plenty of positive things can be achieved if anger is channelled in the right way 🤷‍♀️

Opposite of calm might also be excited, anxious, upset, unsettled, animated, exuberant, restless, uneasy, nervous, worried, tense, stressed, preoccupied, emotional, full of energy. Most likely he was admitting to an uncontrollable and violent temper though, sure 🤔

Did he say he was angry? You would be slagging him off if he was at an event regardless . Why is he out in public? Why is he not at home hiding? Why is he laughing? On and fucking on 🤷‍♀️

The context is that he was telling someone that he couldn't yet face watching an emotionally charged movie about a child dying, which had left his wife in floods of tears the night before.

He was saying that he didn't feel emotionally resilient enough the night before to deal with watching a movie about parents losing a child.

He's spoken before about the effect of working for the air ambulance service when he witnessed severe injuries to children and how it affected his mental health.

Considering his childhood trauma of losing his mother to a violent death, and presumably a recent year of some reflection on what it might mean for his children to also bereaved early in life, and the potential of losing his father too, he could be excused for needing to be in the right frame of mind to deal with an emotional movie like Hamnet.

How you got from the context of him saying he wasn't feeling calm enough to watch Hamnet to assume that means he was violently angry is bizarre.
