I've just read Thomas Markle is in hospital intensive care. He has been treated poorly by Meghan. I doubt if the pair will have anything to say about this. Though they've always plenty to say about a lot of things. Doubt they'll be rushing to his bedside.

It isn’t beyond possibility that she even orchestrated this with the tabloid concerned, knowing he would fall for it which would legitimise her action to cut him out of the wedding - she has form for malevolent manipulative schemes - feeding Omid Scobie stories directly and undercover for his book Finding Freedom and then lying about her actions under oath in a court of law as well as staging the leaked letter that she groomed her five friends to go public on in the press ‘without her knowledge’ - honestly As If. As Ever.

You can always take note of what comes out of her own mouth.

How is that any different to Harry giving repeated interviews to the press about his family because they won’t speak to him? The Markles are a pretty odious clan ( the youngest daughter being an apple that hasn’t fallen far from
the tree), but nothing they have said or done is materially different to anything Meghan and Harry have done these past 5 years. The latter have just done it through multi million dollar media vehicles (lining their pockets quite nicely off the backs of their families), whilst the former have done it via crappy little YouTube channels. The outcome is the same in both cases: gossip, lies and nastiness from one family member against another, for gain and to manipulate a reaction.

This! How on earth can Harold say in his many media blabs that he'd like reconciliation with his family whilst making no mention of not forgiving her own sad and very ill df, it is absolutely batshit and not very authentic or #bekind at all.

You don’t have to forgive someone just because they’re unwell.

Thomas Markle has repeatedly sold his daughter’s privacy for money. He doesn’t get a free pass because he’s unwell. Meghan’s reconciliation with him is only her business, not Harry’s. Why can Harry not say “I would like to explore reconciliation with my dad”, and Meghan have her own boundaries?

You clearly haven’t read Spare or watched their Netflix docu-drama. This was an attack on Harry’s family. Poor Meghan, C list nobody having to endure being feted and becoming a duchess with all the trappings. The (limited) hard time she got from the media and on SM is not really a reason to talk about your brother’s penis or hairline now, is it.

If you genuinely want to pretend she didn’t face any racism or attacks from the press that the family let slide, that’s fine. It says a lot more about you than them tbh

They flogged gossip shows on Netflix where they blabbed about all kinds of things about the rf. His wife did not endure any abuse they were just told no to 'SussexRoyal USA!' and we know the rest.

They are just the same as markel senior yet Harold thinks he should have reconciliation with his family because he 'just wrote a book' when they can't reconcile with her df who 'just had pics taken'.

Exactly! It doesn’t make any sense that H slagged his family off because he was treated so badly but still wants a recovery but what TM did was unforgivable. I remember he said in the NF series that M
had lost her father which a reasonable person could infer meant they weren’t planning on a reconciliation ever.
TM was a ordinary man who was placed in a situation he could never have imagined. How on earth did his dd think he was going to deal with the situation without any support or advice. Why didn’t she fly her df to Britain early on so he could meet H and his family?
The Markles don’t seem like the loveliest bunch of people but I do feel sorry for an old man in very poor health living in a foreign country who has a dd who doesn’t give a shit.

It's been gone over a thousand times on these threads. It's the same things: one "Compton" article (from a US journalist), Danny whatever his name is who was fired, arseholes on social media who abuse any woman in public life. The family didn't let it slide, they don't control the media, as should be the case in a democracy with a free press. Prince William sent out a supportive message when Harry complained about the press. Meghan's treatment compared to any other woman marrying in (especially Catherine) was objectively better in that nobody condones racism and everybody loved her for her beauty and entertainment industry stardust.

All it says about me is that I'm not stupid, and I'm not a white woman, and I know what real racism looks like.

And nothing the media may or may not have done warranted Harry's gossipy, nasty, petty tales about his family members.

Or how about, when they were writing about avocados at that time it was to do with a very dry story about organised violence in the region they are grown. So to get the clicks, on a story people would otherwise scroll by, they attached a high profile name to the story, and the most high profile woman at that time happened to be Meghan Markle. If they posted the dry story at any other time it would have been some other high profile woman like Taylor Swift. It just so happened that the stuff of Meghan's dreams had come true at the time of that story - she was the most written about woman in the world, thanks to the British media

So how about the fact that when Kate touched her baby bumps it was adorable, she was a loving mum etc etc., but when Meghan does it it’s a sign she’s faked her pregnancies and it’s some weird “new age bonding technique”?

Or Kate goes to a food bank and cooks with her hair down and she’s a lovely person, but Meghan does it and it’s a health code violation and she should get in trouble?

If you want to read SM, baby bump conspiracy theorists, you will read shite. Stop reading shite. Where in the British mainstream press has anyone claimed Meghan faked a pregnancy? Go on, link. Because if they tried, it wouldn't get past a lawyer.

I've no idea what you are talking about regarding your second paragraph, but food that is definitely being served to the public (which I gather is the case for the Archewell event) rather than cooking something demonstrative whilst highlighting a cause/org, are quite different things. As an aside, Meghan's latest Instagram reel shows her in a chocolate factory with hair down/no hairnet, jewelry on and no apron. Note the fully kitted up worker next to her. I would have thought that is a health code violation in a factory setting, wouldn't you? So why shouldn't it be pointed out?

In any event, what has any of this got to do with Harry and Meghan's petty and vindictive tale telling on members of their family, that is no different (although far more lucrative) than the Markle family's behaviour? The British media didn't force Harry and Meghan to behave like utter arseholes in print and on film.

They all have been slated in the press. Poor Kate was treated terriby when ill, a cancer diagnosis like a global conspiracy theory, Camilla was mocked and hated for years. None of it is ok but it was no worse for H&M. Until they made it worse by blabbing in their tacky reality shows and tell all interviews.

Harry just the same as the tabloid reporters whom he loathes. How very ironic.
